Gotta stink for him

Saw that. Beaten out by a frosh phenom. Feel bad for him but he should have seen they had a hot shot coming in before he chose to go there, He probably should have picked a MAC school whose QB was out of eligibility (notice I did not say graduate)

Agree on the MAC idea. He just couldn't seem it put together other than the 2015 Texas game. Hope he plays some though, as I imagine he will. No one will ever question his heart and fire.

They made the right choice...philosophically. Go with what is the obvious future of your program. Doesn't mean he will be there when the whistle blows at the end of any quarter. This could blow up for Jim.

Don't be surprised if he still plays alot this year, I expect things to go south early for Florida against Michigan.

He hasn't been the same since that injury, the runner we saw pre injury was much different than the one we saw post injury.

Zaire is third string for this game

Gotta go where you will start in your last year. I was surprised he took that chance and went to Florida. Would have liked to see what he could do at a midlevel school all season. Oh well

Exactly, I didn't think he would end up third string though. I thought the exact same thing though, he should have went to a MAC school or something.

Miami(Ohio) would have been a better choice. Lower level of competition, familiarity with Chuck Martin, closer to home, etcetera. It's not like he was ever going to make it in the NFL unless it was as a third or fourth string RB.

Actually the depth charts I am seeing list 3 QBs on first team offense/

Agree. Zaire had to know this going in. He's hoping "the future" struggles and that Jim turns to his experience.

Oops,,,,, bad game for the redshirt.

Zaire was terrible, too.

Zaire didn't exactly light the world on fire that's for sure, 77 net yards is nothing to write home about.

Yep, fumbling in the end zone for a TD isn't going to help him.

Either it's his casence or both olines sucked he played on. He seems to get pressure in his face every down. Didn't look good at all

It was a lot more than that. The most egregious play I can think of was a 4th and 3 and they ran a bootleg with the RB or TE curling down the first down line aka 3 yards deep. It was maybe a 8-10 yards pass total from where Zaire was, the receiver was WIDE OPEN and he under-threw it by about 3 yards on a 4th down.

How can that happen at the D1 level? I saw horrible accuracy on a bunch of other throws, too.
