One thing has been consistent over BK's previous seven seasons, he is never fully honest about injuries and always way too optimistic. I hope it is only minor and not a Josh Adams 2016 situation. I hate to say it, but if he's not nursing an injury then he should just transfer. Once in BK's doghouse it's almost impossible to get out. He's good enough to be in the two deep I read a report from the first practice that he didn't look engaged during practice. He would have a great catch and then follow that up by dropping passes due to lack of concentration. He looked lackadaisical and disinterested. If he's in the doghouse, he should be putting forth a little more effort to get out. So for the rant.. Every coach is tougher on back ups than they are on essential personnel. Perhaps if BK was tougher on Floyd he wouldn't have the issues he has today. Talks a little about Stepherson. BK talking generally: "Still focus on the traits. We’re not gonna reward talent here. I did that last year, it was a mistake. We’re gonna reward those guys that have an attention to detail, that have a great focus and play with grit. We lost a lot of games last year with guys that I did not develop in the right way and I’m gonna develop them in the right way. If you’re not happy with where you are in maybe how much time you got, it has nothing to do with your talent. Just focus on those traits and that will get you on the field." When asked about Stepherson directly: "It’s not just Kevin, it’s anybody. If you look at anybody in terms of their rep work today, a lot of it is attention to their detail. Some of it is them learning some of the new systems that we put in. I would like to refer back to yet. We’re five days into this. If they’re not out there, it’s because they’re not there yet.
