That's really bad if Ole Miss fires you due to character. Freeze has issues. He actually attempted to motivate his team by staging a fake funeral a few years ago. To all the Kelly haters, no jokes about that lol. Pretty sure Ole Miss was paying players too. Guess they don't care about paying kids but prostitutes aren't going to fly, at least with the head coach. :becky:

Listening to the sports talk radio out here and wow. Just the people calling in about his firing. It's no wonder the SEC does as it please. A guy literally called in and said so what. He's not priest or a preacher. He can do as he pleases. Quite a few calls were like this. Football rules in the south.

I just saw this. Even assuming he "butt dialed" by mistake, what are the odds of dialing an escort service if you don't already have the number on your phone?

Believe I read there was a pattern and he called more than once.

What makes me really sick about this is what a hypocrite this MF'er is. Listening to him being interviewed over the past few years, he sounded like a guy who just wanted to "do things the right way." Morally superior, blah blah blah.

This cat had a pattern of questionable behavior/judgement/actions, and this was just the final nail.

Dan Wetzel just wrote a good column about what this dude has really been all about at Ole Miss.

Ole Miss was looking for a way to get rid of him and not pay him. Now they can go to the NCAA and request lesser sanctions saying they are trying to clean up. This program reminds me so much of SMU.

I see your point, but what he did isn't a rules violation.

I'm torn to a degree. Hooking should be legal, and IMO it's not a big deal itself. However, when you're a married man with kids and the face of a college football program, you've got to hold yourself to a higher standard.
