2019 QB Cade McNamara is not Irish at all

Explains the Morris commitment to Washington. ND was simply pursuing McNamara harder and it looks like he may have committed a few days ago and made it official today.

But, it is awesome that Tom Rees is one of his recruiters according to 247. Ironically, when I watch his film, I see Tommy Rees. I suppose that could be good.

Rees was dreadful. Not entirely his fault since he was never recruited to start but somehow constantly fell azz backwards into the starting job.

 

I'm normally not part of the bleacher bum crowd, but this is not a great prospect. He's a backup at best, that offer sheet tells me everything I need to know.

Early in the cycle means you sift through the highly rated players to figure out who to pursue the hardest. It doesnt mean you give one of your scholarships to a kid who doesn't even hold offers from half the Mountain West conference...

No, his quote that this is a good start to the class is bs. This kid shouldn't have been offered at this point in time. And this isn't any position, it's the most important on the field. They just got a commit from a zero star. That's unacceptable.
