tneun89 1,118
Composite four star on 247. Top 250 on Rivals and Top 200 on ESPN. Offers from Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, UCLA, among others. Saw on twitter that he plans to early enroll.
coltssb 1,135
One thing is certain with this staff. We'll get at least two highly starred o-linemen and one good tightend.

dangeruss 6
nice pickup for ND, ND has never had problems building depth at TE.

I'd throw LBs in there too. Always seem to land 2-4 highly regarded LBs too.

LasVegasIrish 0
I'd say QB has been pretty solid, minus missing on Hunter Johnson last year. I mean in reality, under Kelly they have recruited very well offensively. And I think at least in the last few years LBs have been good as well. Secondary has been hit or miss. Interior DL has been hit or miss. Edge rushers has been very bad.
Big23Head 2,502
FYI, Takacs is an EE
davislove 0
FYI, Takacs is an EE Thinking out loud here. At first I thought did we really need another tight end. If we skipped this year maybe the top tight end next year would find us more appealing. Too much talent ahead of this kid for him to play any time soon. But then I thought. What if Mack leaves next year, that leaves weisher and the 2 freshmen. Not sure weisher is starting material. Now my question becomes: Do we take 2 tight ends this class? I confuse myself sometimes. You can't pass a kid like this imo. Also, being an Army All American he clearly should be rated higher.

Ruckert is still considering ND, he tweeted that specifically today. The staff HAS to remain in contact with TE recruits for the reasons you mention. If Mack leaves and Weishar leaves for whatever reason they absolutely need a second TE. Luckily, they can stick with a developing guy like Tremble throughout the year and once they have a better idea for next year pull the trigger. Right now there is only really room for 1 TE but this is fluid. Also, luckily, the staff has Boykin and Claypool that could play the flex TE if really needed. This offense requires 4 TE. ELDER06 248
nice pickup for ND, ND has never had problems building depth at TE. That's why it's difficult for me to get excited. Kmet and Wright are two of the best TE recruits in the country. There's already a lot of depth.
