CanadianIrish 0
Alright, again a new season ahead of us. Let's get some predictions going... AL East = Boston AL Central = Cleveland AL West = Houston Wild Cards: Toronto, Seattle AL Champ = Cleveland over Boston NL East = Washington NL Central = Chicago NL West = Dodgers Wild Cards: St. Louis, San Francisco NL Champ = Dodgers over Chicago (sorry Cubs fans) World Series = Cleveland in 5 Stings losing Edwin to the Tribe - that team is scary good with a full season of Andrew Miller and a healthy Carrasco and Salazar AL MVP = Donaldson (I think he's due for a huge year) NL MVP = Arrenado (I think Colorado will be sneaky good and the world will finally realize how damn good this guy is) AL Cy Young = Kluber NL Cy Young = Kershaw Thoughts?????? coltssb 1,125
It seems you are on the same page with the experts in terms of playoff contenders. The Dodgers could be the Cubs and the Indians could absolutely win the World Series. Just a few switches by me. I'll go with Texas instead of Houston. They seem to rotate around who wins that division. Baltimore in over Seattle NL Mets in over St. Louis

LasVegasIrish 0
Hard to pick against the Cubs, but it's so hard to repeat. Especially in a sport like baseball. But there bullpen is improved overall, and even without Fowler...they have Schwarber for a full season, the likelihood of Heyward being much better, Almora's defense in center, and the continued maturation of guys like Russell, Baez, and Contreras. I'm more concerned about their starting pitching than anything. Arrietta needs to pitch better than the second half. With that said, here are my predictions: AL East: Boston AL Central: Indians AL West: Seattle (my surprise team) Wild Card: Blue Jays, Texas MVP: Picking against Trout is asanine, but he's been screwed before. I'll say Lindor. Cy Young: Carlos Carrassco NL East: Nationals NL Central: Cubs NL West: Dodgers Wild Card: Mets, Pirates MVP: Trea Turner Cy Young: Noah Syndergaard ALCS: Boston over Indians NLCS: Nationals over Cubs World Series: Nationals over Boston

Additional picks: AL MVP: Trout NL MVP: Bryant AL CY: Sale NL CY: Thor
OKCIrish99 3
Love this time of year. A close 2nd to the fall. On to business: AL East: Boston (they're gonna be good) AL Central: Cleveland AL West: Houston NL East: Washington NL Central: Chicago Cubs NL West: LA AL Cy Young- Sale NL Cy Young- Scherzer AL MVP- Trout NL MVP- Bryant Series- Cubs over Cleveland in 6 Their lineup is going to be unbelievable this year with Schwarber back now and the other big boys are entering their prime. Wade Davis needs to be money. If he is and stays healthy, Cubs will be very difficult to beat.
corysold 0
Arenado is a product of Coors Field. Amazing fielder, but his road OPS is similar to that of guys like Ben Zobrist, Jackie Bradley Jr., and Dexter Fowler. Good numbers, but that would put him 40th or so in baseball. Hardly MVP caliber. I said he was an amazing fielder, that isn't debatable and doesn't matter where he plays. But when 65% of your offensive stats come at home, that leads me to believe the park plays a factor. OKCIrish99 3
Weird start to the season. Know it's only around 12 games or so, but I sure didn't expect Cincinnati and Arizona to start this well. LONG season though.

LONG season though. I actually expected AZto do well. Pollack was their table setter. He does a lot for that club offensively and defensively. When he went down at that start of last season it really screwed them up. Also, Greinke isn't going to have a year like he did last year. And picking up Taijuan Walker was a great pick up.
