Coach Long had been on him for a while. Once he came to ND, he wanted Cole to visit HH. Big frame, tough kid and could see his stock rise throughout the year.

HH is among the best at recruiting, but I haven't been impressed with the play of his lines as a unit. He's got great individual talent, but they never play up to that potential.

Until they get into the NFL.

Hoping that Long will be a catalyst for an improved blocking scheme.

I read in the past 48 hours that the staff really liked how his athleticism is why he was such a good fit. Then they ran him through some film explaining why. Even he was able to understand exactly what they were expecting from him.

Maybe it is posted here. I read a bunch in the last 48 hours with all these commits.

Either way, HH wants him, has him and has a plan for him. This isn't Heggie 2.0.

Has anyone any insight if the blocking scheme will remain as before or if there will be some adjustments made to it, big or small?

I am hoping they will make the necessary changes to enable the OL to become a dominant force out there.
