The Captain 19 453
Looks like he committed. According to TOS.
BrianKellyWasNotTheMan 12
Probably, our lowest commit. Though, he's 6 '5 and has a ton of room to grow.
Fifth Horseman 0
I'll take big linemen from down south. He may be our lowest, but he's got a good frame.
Big23Head 2,502
Coach Long had been on him for a while. Once he came to ND, he wanted Cole to visit HH. Big frame, tough kid and could see his stock rise throughout the year.

I'M PROUD TO SAY THAT I HAVE COMMITTED TO PLAY FOOTBALL AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME!!!#goirish ☘️☘️☘️☘️ pic.twitter.com/pqY9Uuvv1g
— Cole Mabry (@cmabry5) February 14, 2017

2018 TN OL Cole Mabry has committed to #NotreDame. davislove 0
Probably, our lowest commit. Though, he's 6 '5 and has a ton of room to grow. IIRC this kid comes from a pretty good school that turs out some good kids. At the very least we get our foot in the door.
nickman54 0
He definitely finishes plays. I like it, looks pretty athletic too.

Jersey Irish 207
Good get fromj SEC territory two days in a row! He can learn the system next year and bulk up to increase his strength and be ready to go as a sophomore
LasVegasIrish 0
Trust ND and HH specifically accepting his commitment this early. Love his height
coltssb 1,135
Don't worry, we we'll be getting at least one more really good OL. It's a staple now with HH and BK.
dangeruss 6
Trust ND and HH specifically accepting his commitment this early. Love his height yeah ND has proven themselves when recruiting OL over and over again.
ELDER06 248
HH is among the best at recruiting, but I haven't been impressed with the play of his lines as a unit. He's got great individual talent, but they never play up to that potential.
Jersey Irish 207
Trust ND and HH specifically accepting his commitment this early. Love his height He also said HH promised him his spot in this class was secure, no matter what other recruits come on board. Would say that was high praise for his ability to contribute in the future.

He's got great individual talent, but they never play up to that potential. Until they get into the NFL. Hoping that Long will be a catalyst for an improved blocking scheme. dboe34 0
I read in the past 48 hours that the staff really liked how his athleticism is why he was such a good fit. Then they ran him through some film explaining why. Even he was able to understand exactly what they were expecting from him. Maybe it is posted here. I read a bunch in the last 48 hours with all these commits. Either way, HH wants him, has him and has a plan for him. This isn't Heggie 2.0. jimbo 405
Until they get into the NFL. Hoping that Long will be a catalyst for an improved blocking scheme. Has anyone any insight if the blocking scheme will remain as before or if there will be some adjustments made to it, big or small? I am hoping they will make the necessary changes to enable the OL to become a dominant force out there.
