EddieAngel
Wow. That is just fascinating. Seems odd for someone who left their last major position in disgrace with no real good experience to take over the role of OC for a superbowl caliber team. He saw an opportunity to pop open a Bud after a pro game which he could not do at Alabama.
Jim2Dokes
Saban can help a career, but it seems like no one actually wants to work for the guy.
Franco
Saban can help a career, but it seems like no one actually wants to work for the guy. hmmmm I think you may have a case of revisionist history. Jim McElwain (2008-2011) was his OC for four years before getting the head coaching gig at Colorado St. Doug Nussmeier (spell?) (2012-2013) was his OC for two years until Saban realized he needed someone who could implement the spread offense after getting beat by Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl And then Kiffin, well...is Kiffin And Sark, well....same...he probably just wanted Sark to run the offense for the NC game in the interim because he wanted someone who knew Kiffin's scheme

He was over their secondary from 2010 - 2012 before stints as DC at both FSU and UGA.

He can't be any worse than that freakin' idiot Shanahan who play called the Falcons clean out of a Super Bowl win on Sunday; the 49ers should meet his plane at the airport & refuse landing privileges. You guys think Brian Kelly is a poor play caller? He's a damn offensive genius by comparison to Shanahan. Ball at NE 22; fall on ball 3 times; kick field goal; win Super Bowl - too mundane for a clever coach like Kyle. Unbelievable. End rant. Given how badly things went in the second half I am wondering if he wasn't already on his way to SF mentally.

Sarkesian, who was coached by Norm Chow, won the Sammy Baugh Trophy as a QB at BYU. Played 3 years in the CFL. He then was an assistant for Chow at USC, was a QB coach for the Raiders, Head Coach at Washington, Head Coach at USC and then Saban's assistant. I'm thinking he'll be smart enough to tell Matt Ryan not to take a sack when you're about to ice the Super Bowl. LOL

LOL To rephrase: No recent track record of success to merit taking the helm of a Super Bowl team. But then, given the Shanahan situation it isn't so bad I guess.
