EddieAngel
How many did we end up with this year? I just read Meatchicken has 11 EEs. Is it really that easy to be a skunkbear?

Irish_Convert
Pretty sure ND has a limit as to how many EEs are allowed every year and I believe it's five, sooo.

Synoptico
That was previously I believe. No limit anymore Limit was 3 at one point as well, credit where credit is due as far as expanding. I remember when it was not a possibility.

davislove
Why would there be any limit or should be? I'm probably off base a little but I thought the EE's were considered part of the previous recruiting class. So it might be a way to add more players for that cycle. So it might be a way to add more players for that cycle. EEs do allow flexibility for class size however it's rarely used. I think Ole Miss did it recently when they had a super small class followed by a class of like 30 recruits. You're only allowed 85 scholarships so it only really provides scholarship help to schools w unbalanced classes.

I assume that most schools will count EEs towards the previous class if possible to give themselves flexibility going forward. Of course, the 85 team roster limit for scholarships must also be taken into account when determining the number of signees a class can have.
