I've heard it's going to be a lot of junior talent on hand for the game. Does anyone have a full list of visitors for this weekend? On top of that, I believe Donald is coming in for his official? If so, when can we expect an announcment and where do you think he'll end up? I can't wait for that kid, he would be a huge addition for us. I just keep dwelling on Martin, Wilson, Barksdale and Donald. that would be insane

the donald official may be pushed back to stanford

this is not for any other reason than his parents want to go to the game and they can't find tickets at a decent cost

right now this isnt confirmed but MFrank brought this up on powerhour today

right now i believe its still on but this rumor seems to be growing

MSG will be there

and Kerry Neal (who by the way was great on power hour today)

sorry i forgot to add that if Donald does not come this weekend he will be coming for standford instead, i guess the tix's must be cheaper, who knows

again this hasnt been confirmed its just coming from MFrank on powerhour and he said its something he heard may be happening

i still expect him to be there this weekend

ok its confirmed

MSG, Neal, and Trattou will be the visitors on officials this week

UCLA should be Blackwell and im not sure who else

Stanford will be Donald, Everson Griffen, Michael Williams, and I believe Harrison Smith and Armando Allen

The banquet should be Hughes, Tez, and Best

that looks to be the last of officials

im sure there will be plenty of unofficials

dang thanks td, you rule. stanford looks like a huge game all the sudden. i have to ask you, out of those 5 visitors who do you honestly think will end up signing? Ive heard allen is heavy on florida, griffen sc, williams a slight lead for michigan, and that donald favors ten. god i hope thats wrong haha

Williams is a heavy ND lean, and when i say heavy i mean really heavy

Im hearing Griffen may have things in order and ND may be leading after all

Allen I agree FL leads but its not over, in fact I think a good visit may be enough to sway him

and I believe we will land both Donald and Smith

What about Blackwell td? I haven't his name mentioned that much in the past couple months. I know a lot of people believe he will end up at ND, but one of the LSU fans over at the rivals boad in the past said that Louisanna kids dont leave the state very often and especially the West Monore kids (Blackwell's high school). Any thoughts on how good of chance we have at Blackwell?

kids do not leave LSU territory very often

however, he has some ties to ND, i believe it is grandpa who is his defensive coach and a huge ND fan

this kid grew up liking ND

i think he sees the academic side of ND

that all being said its always 50/50 at best when we go against big state U for the top kids

i do think we sit in a very good position with him, he has been quiet lately which is a good sign if you ask me

i would say right now ND looks to have a very good shot with him, especially if he takes two trips, like he plans, lets just hope he enjoys the campus and likes the cold weather (since that is the sole purpose of the second trip)

any time a kid comes twice during the year you feel good about it, you feel better when the unofficial visit is from far away and the kid pays his own way, I really think we land him, but again LSU doesnt lose many kids, he just doesnt seem drawn to LSU like others in that region

i do think we sit in a very good position with him, he has been quiet lately which is a good sign if you ask me

Good point td. This could be a lot like Gary Gray's situation. Will might not want to have to deal with the crap Gary has had to deal with in his situation (Locals pressuring him to stay home and that might not be what he wants to do).

this probably seems far off and highly speculative, but how many kids can we expect to wait until the AA game to commit? i know a lot of the big time kids like to draw things out, and we're definitely mostly waiting on big time kids. i mean

#4 Griffen

#5 King

#11 Donald

#16 Miller

#18 Barksdale

#20 Benn (well technically)

#21 Johnson

#22 Wilson

#28 Thompson

first of all how many of these kids do we get, second how many will go for a late commit? 9 five star kids, we've got two already.. SC is the only other school really in on that many big time kids.

Off the top of my head, I have only heard of 'Tez Wilson commiting at the AA game.

Have real good shots with-Benn(Lock), Donald, Barksdale (Early Enrollee)

Colorado's head coach, Dan Hawkins, has done a good job of trying to sell Ryan Miller as the key cornerstone in his rebuilding process at CU. He'll have to have a good visit next month for us to sway him IMO.

Top 3, but not saying much-Griffen (Heavy USC lean, will need a good visit to sway him IMO), King (Has grade issues and from what I've heard probably won't get an ND offer) and Deonte Thompson (If we take a 4th WR, he'd be it, but we need to get an official for a chance).

Williams is a heavy ND lean, and when i say heavy i mean really heavy

I agree TD, this weekend could have solidified any doubts for Mike. First off, his team takes a whipping against Oaks Christian (of course led by JC) eerily similar to the ND-Mich game. The next day a kid from his school, Terrail Lambert, playing potentially the same position, saves the day for ND. I live in Ventura but have no insides or anything of the like, but the local sentiment has been that Williams is Irish bound, no matter what you read he says about Mich or what Vagas is saying. Look for St Bonaventure to continue sending talent to ND, can't remember his name but there's a massive lineman that will be among the best next year...ND will likely target him.

Mike will be here for standford but otherwise very good points scotty, and ill try to find the OL's name he was huge and looked very good against oaks despite how bad the rest of his team looked on offense, he would be a huge get next year

also rain, King is out, scratch him he will not qualify

Benn will be announced before the AA game

the others are possibilities but i dont think we land miller, johnson, or thompson pardon the rhyme

other than tez (who will announce at the AA game) im not sure on announce dates but i would guess barksdale wont be at the AA game, and Griffen im not sure about, he was upset ND took so long to offer, but i think he is warming up to ND every day that goes by, seriously a good visit and we are in great shape

I think this is the guy you were talking about scotty-#79 Vaugh Dotsy. According to scout, he has interest USC, UCLA and Cal

TD, you said the parents of Chris Donald wanted cheaper plane tickets. But I thought the school takes care of the family on an official. Does anyone know how this works?

im just repeating what mike frank said was the reason

i think you probably get to bring one visitor, i dont really know the process

i do know that pete sampson has confirmed he will be coming for the stanford game now instead, i would assume frank's reason applies, but haven't heard

They should try to fly into Fort Wayne or Chicago and rent a car. I flew into Fort Wayne once for a game it was hundreds of dollars cheaper. Just a nice short ride across the Indiana countryside. It may be worth checking out.

td, whats up with DT? is he just leaning to florida too far? ive heard like no rumors at all about him even visiting, i was just wondering about his reasoning. i think he could be a huge threat as a space player

You guys know if Joe Mcknight will take a visit to ND?

td, whats up with DT? is he just leaning to florida too far? ive heard like no rumors at all about him even visiting, i was just wondering about his reasoning. i think he could be a huge threat as a space player

I think DT stays in the state of Florida.

I havent heard anything on Mcknight or Deonte Thompson

I have thought all along McKnight ends up at USC, others think LSU, i really dont know about him visiting, i would be suprised if he did

As far as thompson things have been quiet, i thought he would be miami's to lose, but with the coaching thing who knows, i would love to have him at ND, but if he doesnt come on an official then you can count him out, USC is probably still a player for him as are the florida schools
