Jersey Irish 207
Another great late pickup. But why weren't these last two guys on our radar earlier? Their tapes show them to be better prospects and fits for ND than the guys they replaced who committed elsewhere.

Armstrong was a Chip Long guy and JGH was an Elko guy I believe

Their tapes show them to be better prospects and fits for ND than the guys they replaced who committed elsewhere. My thoughts exactly. Excited about the new guys, I hope it's a sign of things to come from the new staff. Reading the article now, found this interesting: “He seems like a very enthusiastic guy,” Armstrong said of Long in the same interview. “He’s obviously getting ready to take an important job. He told me that he is trying to throw for 3,000-plus yards every season. Obviously, it’s very attractive for a receiver when the OC tells you that they will be throwing it around.”

golson5 221
Ran a faster 100 than Troy Pride Jr too Troy ran a 10.5 at his final state meet in hs. The fastest I've seen of Armstrong is 10.83. That's a big difference
LasVegasIrish 0
Troy ran a 10.5 at his final state meet in hs. The fastest I've seen of Armstrong is 10.83. That's a big difference What I read is that his junior year was faster than Troy's. Maybe that's all they meant. If so, i guess their overall point was is it's possible he only gets faster like Pride did.
