KellyisNasty 0
What the heck? I think ND players will always face unwarranted criticism because most of these scout services spend every waking moment fellating the SEC. http://draftanalyst.com/hello-mobile

tneun89 1,118
Pretty good article on Kizer re: character issues and opinions that he regressed this season. Wouldn't read too much into the character issues part.

DeShone Kizer lost 2 OL to NFL Draft (Stanley 6, Martin 50), best WR (Fuller, 21), of course his numbers would dip https://t.co/1UrmR6q4BN pic.twitter.com/zl9sT84M94
— Jason McIntyre (@jasonrmcintyre) January 26, 2017
ColinKSU 18
I don't think he has character problems. I just wouldn't draft him in the first round because I don't know that he's a first round talent.
hawaiiirish 62
I expect him to go late second round---character issues with Kizer are a joke IMO---- several bad games in 2016......a clear regression from the awesome play of 2015-- loss of the long bombs sans fuller....his team having a HORRIBLE season despite high rank preseason All of that as I said before will drop him out of the first round ...NOT other non football crap Still KIZER when he looks good looks very good----nice big arm---excellent mobility--- and he is so freakin BIG! Those things will clearly prevent him from falling too far----mid to late round 2 aloha
Jersey Irish 207
Typical internet b.s. To say "character issues" with no explanation or source is totally what's bad about internet "journalism." Kizer should go punch this guy in the nose to show him he as no character issues, lol. tneun89 1,118
Still think he is a first round guy. Supply and demand - consensus top three QBs are Kizer, Watson, and Trubisky - a good chance at least two, if not all three, are taken in the first. I honestly agree that he's a second round guy. Awful year this year, even though it's not all on him. But two years as a starter at the fishbowl that is ND, great size, huge arm, intelligent, and no issues, despite recent reports. That's a lot to like - if he lands with the right team and can sit for a year or two, he could be a great pro. Think he goes top 20.
PJacksonsDred15 121
1st rd guy. Just too much potential. I see him going to Cleveland but not with their first pick. CTHindman 0
Like the kid, but leadership not his forte. Maybe that is a character issue for a qb.
irishwavend 706
Dont hate. That helps no one and no coach would ever do it. Except when BK actually bad mouths/blames players, and yes, it helps me feel better and it helps our program to keep adding nails in his coffin, true or hyperbole, to get rid of this jacka$$. I wasnt even going to go there, but since you did...if a coach badmouths his players to the media in public, would we be shocked if he did it behind close doors? And college coaches give their opinions to pro scouts for just about every player, and if you think they are always peaches and rainbows then I dont know what to tell you....knowing BK, im sure he would say anything to save face with the NFL guys. Im not saying he did it, but scouts get a majority of their information regarding character from the head coach. ELDER06 248
Like the kid, but leadership not his forte. Maybe that is a character issue for a qb. There's a difference between not being a leader and having character issues. He might not be a ra-ar guy on the field, but anyone who thinks his character off the field will be an issue is out of their minds.
KamaraPolice 0
Walter football has Kizer going 2 to San Fran. Overall.
tneun89 1,118
NLF.com, Pro Football Focus, and Bleacher Report all have Trubisky going second overall to SF, and Watson, not Kizer, also going in the first round. Obviously it's still too early as these are going to change every day. Just thought it was interesting Trubisky is the consensus top choice right now. Jersey Irish 207
The team that needs him the most is the Jets. Their QB situation is a big. ugly mess.
Frankus 210
I don't see the character issue, but I do think he held the ball too long and he'll have to make a decision and release the ball much quicker in the NFL. The big upside is his size and arm strength. I will be surprised if he's not a 1st rounder.
