LasVegasIrish
Give 2 players on defense and offense that you expect to break out next season. My two for defense are Julian Love and Daelin Hayes. Notre Dame is in dire need of a pass rusher, and Hayes seems like the most likely candidate. His athletic ability is off the charts and he is also pretty big overall. Match him up with a better defensive coordinator and strength coach and I think he will really impress next season. That, and just another year of football play. I think people forget he didn't play a lot in college due to injuries. Julian Love is simply a playmaker and very smart player. He has twitchy hips and and great feet. On top of that he is willing tackler which will most likely make him a valuable ST player and against the option. My two for offense are pretty bland. Neither of them played this year. Alize Jones and Brandon Wimbush. Wimbush is the best QB Kelly had had, and I think he proves that. We will be talking about his NFL stock next season. Mobile, with a very strong arm, and extremely confident. Same goes for Alize Jones. I think we are talking about his NFL stock next season. He will turn into a dynamic weapon for BW. Too fast for LBs and too tall for DBs. I want to see him use those incredible hands this season. I will add a twist to this: Pick a player that you don't expect to start this season that will make a big impact or will end up starting. My guess: Asmar Bilal Edited January 10, 2017 by LasVegasIrish
ndomer4
Offense- Alize Jones and Brandon Wimbush. Defense- This is tough I could see any of the backers in Bilal/Morgan/Coney breaking out and either Watkins/Crawford at corner two guys we badly missed. I won't be surprised if everyone of these guys breaks out. My guy who won't start but expect big thing from will be Claypoolon O and Kareem on D. davislove
Offense: cj sanders and i hope mcflinchey moves to the right side and dominate. Defense: I'll say crawford but i feel like thats cheating. Also going with love. Fingers crossed. For my bonus pick, I'll go with greer martini. ndomer4
I like your Kareem choice. We're gonna need him and Hayes bigtime, their our only two games remotely close to any pass rushers we saw last night.

FaithInIrish Forever
I'm gonna go deep on the Roster. D- Ade Ogundeji, Micah Dew Treadway, Pete Mokuah, O- Chris Finke, Deon Mcintosh or CJ Holmes, Brock Wright. Reasons Elko will be digging deep for Lineman. Long's offense starts with the short pass. Soko
For my bonus pick, I'll go with greer martini. We're in big trouble if Martini plays a lot. He is ok but not good enough to be playing for an elite program which I know we are not.
ndomer4
I also think chris finke is going to go off next season, he has everything you would want in a slot wr. I agree, I think he is just as good of an athlete as Renfrow if not better. The only difference is Clemson uses effective route combos and pick plays where he has basically noone covering him. Agree on Martini, he is a poor mans Carlo and should be used situationally. I think Bilal, Coney, Morgan is on par with a Bama/Clemson linebacking corps in terms of athletic ability if not higher. I know they didn't play like it last year but there were lots of factors and those guys are all freak athletes, Elko will get lots from them. Fifth Horseman
Offense: Dexter Williams or Chase Claypool. Why're both game wreckers waiting to happen. Alize Jones is the easy choice. Defense: Daelin Hayes and Micah Dew Treadway. Treadway was trending up before his injury and I predict Hayes will flourish this season under Elko, plus be the beneficiary of Morgan being asked to rush and having to be accounted for. Surprise pick: Tony Jones becomes the next Robert Hughes and trucks someone. Edited January 11, 2017 by Fifth Horseman
Rocketsan
Claypool will be captain one day.
hawaiiirish
I also am very high on Claypool--not as convinced about Dexter W. Personally I like VAUGHN & LOVE---( sounds like a singing duo) I think they will be great material for the new DC to stabilize the back end. aloha
dangeruss
I also am very high on Claypool--not as convinced about Dexter W. me too, I wouldn't be surprised if tony jones jumps him on the depth chart by years end. from the reports tony jones was killing it this year on the scout team. Frankus
I will be surprised if CJ Sanders is not utilized in multiple ways next year. He is the most athletic / dynamic skill player we have and was totally underutilized last year. For defense, I'll go with Bilal.
