Posted September 26, 200618 yr Greg Little was suppose to be taking an official visit to OSU this weekend but guess what? he canceled it that was the only other official he had set up so as of now he has taken one official and that was to ND and should still be announcing at his homecoming on Oct. 6 we have all presumed for a long time he is irish, and this only provides us more proof in my opinon
September 26, 200618 yr Other than the prestige of playing for ND, and the academics, what else do you guys think these recruits look at ???? They've got to be watching these games, and loving the way the team just doesnt give up. UM game was a different story, but this MSU game really will go down in the books. Little has to be salivating at the chance to play in this system, with the likes of JC, GG, Kamara, Benn, JA, MP. This offense will have so many weapons in the very near future. I wouldnt even be that upset if ND didnt win or make it to the NC this year. 2008, 2009, 2010 and so on, we will be nearly unstoppable.
September 26, 200618 yr This was on the SuperPrep message board, not sure how true this is: "Greg Little, of Durham, N.C., has changed his announcement date. He has also changed the date of his visit to SC in Los Angeles. Greg has stated that he will visit SC officially earlier on Oct. 7th for the Washington game at the Coliseum. His formal announcement will take place on Oct. 9th." I still think he's already decided to become Irish.
September 26, 200618 yr No facts here but I think this has benn pretty much wrapped for a few months now. Maybe even 3-4 months.

September 26, 200618 yr No facts here but I think this has benn pretty much wrapped for a few months now. Maybe even 3-4 months. you mean BENN? or BEEN? No, I meant Greg Little. Benn is facts. Greg Little is just my opinion. I think Little has been locked up for atleast 2 months.
September 26, 200618 yr Other than the prestige of playing for ND, and the academics, what else do you guys think these recruits look at ???? They might spend time with position coaches and CW to get to know them better, check out the weight room and facilities, check out the campus life, social life, weather and cash in on their opportunity for good seats at a game...
September 26, 200618 yr I would have to say that G. Little is probably one of the best pure athletes in the class this year. He's going to become a monster wherever the staff decides to him.
September 26, 200618 yr Good find TD. You guys think he'll see Jimmy while he's up there? He just wants to save SC some money so he is going to stay with JC
September 26, 200618 yr I can picture being on the goal line 3rd and goal and lining GLittle up in the backfield to slam into the pile for the TD
September 26, 200618 yr TD, I also believe that he is or will be Irish. But in any other circumstance, wouldn't it make you nervous that a recruit is visiting SC right before the announcement. I think it's a trip to see Cali and JC, but at first it kind of threw me for a loop.
September 26, 200618 yr up until wilson i would have said no however, little does not have a dad in southern california, in all honesty i think that was what did it for wilson, chance to play close to the father you never have really had any time with, what i mean by that is i think ND had the lead and thats what gave USC the lead, im sure he liked everything else about SC for little, i think ND leads by a very wide margin and its just the chance to see a good game, i really don't think USC has anything that can make up the difference, it will be interesting to see if he sees Jimmy while he is out there so sure something deep down worries a little but in all honesty i think its been over for some time and this is just his process, i think i would go to USC see those girls and check out a game if i was a recruit just for the chance
September 26, 200618 yr Good points on Wilson, I hadn't made that connection until now for some reason (I guess I blocked it out!) I also agree that I would take visits too, why not..see new places on someone else's dime, as an athlete he's earned it. I think it will be the last time he will have to tell a coach that he isn't buying what they're selling..."thanks for the trip, I appreciate your time, but I'm going to ND, see you next fall"
September 29, 200618 yr Greg Little was suppose to be taking an official visit to OSU this weekend but guess what? he canceled it that was the only other official he had set up so as of now he has taken one official and that was to ND and should still be announcing at his homecoming on Oct. 6 we have all presumed for a long time he is irish, and this only provides us more proof in my opinon This is inaccurate info. Little was in Columbus for the Penn State game, even confirmed by Joe Barksdale because he made mention that they only person he know was Little. Little has visited Notre Dame on 9/16, Ohio State on 9/23 and will visit USC on October 7th before making his decision on October 9th. Also, just because he didn't visit UNC "officially" doesn't mean they are 100% out of the picture because he has been to UNC several weekends this season already per Rivals UNC folks.
Greg Little was suppose to be taking an official visit to OSU this weekend
but guess what? he canceled it
that was the only other official he had set up
so as of now he has taken one official and that was to ND and should still be announcing at his homecoming on Oct. 6
we have all presumed for a long time he is irish, and this only provides us more proof in my opinon
