Per 'sources.' Maybe we can give him a two-fer?

If I were Urban, and I wanted to screw over ND, I would spread the rumor that I wanted Elston even though I didn't want him. That would guarantee that Elston gets the DC job and Urban would gleefully hurt ND like he has done for years.

Dude has a serious hardon for Notre Dame.

Our worst nightmare might be true lol.. Kelly hiring within again.. This might speed up his exit though.

I've been wondering if a coach has actually ever survived "the hot seat".

Once a coach's name is mentioned as being on the hot seat, it seems to me that it's only a matter of time before he's fired. It might be a few months, maybe an entire season, but I just don't know if a coach that's rumored to be "on the hot seat" actually ever actually got off that seat without being fired. If it's the case that every coach who's been mentioned as being on the hot seat has actually been fired, then maybe ND should just cut ties right now (my preference) rather than suffer through the additional indignities of a 6-7 or 7-6 or 8-5 season in 2017.

Urban doesn't give a f*** about ND, nor should he. You're making stories up.

If ND won every game next year 50+ to 0 including the playoffs and was crowned the best team to ever exist. Everyone on this board would still be clamoring for him to be hanged. So in short, no. He's done after next year no matter what.

That's probably the most insane posts I've seen from you in the past few weeks and that is saying a lot.
