goirish83
Wow what a piece of s**t if true. So he flirts with the Eagles days after the national championship, and then after his only other good season he flirts with usc? Then signs an extension and flirts again the very next season. And the worst part about it is that the University I love so much is completely allowing him to treat them like nothing but a stepping stone. The university of notre dame is allowing this guy to treat them like this? Remember this is the guy who apologized profusely after talking to the Eagles and said if he flirted again he deserved to be fired. He also has said in the past that if his assistants look for lateral positions he'd be looking for new assistants I just wish the BOT would take matters into their own hands and finish this, the quicker the better. echo88
I wish USC would hire him. That would be one less respectable team on the schedule that we would have to worry about....

I wish they would have hired him because we would have the coaching advantage and a greater chance of a win. That is definitely one way to look at it too lol. Doesn't surprise me and I agree ND is letting this complete bum walk all over them. Swarbrick is a little bitch.
SpeedsterX
Guys, IT'S A BUSINESS! There's no loyalty anymore, no true "LOVE" for ND by business men. Even coaches that would call ND their "dream job" won't come when they are "begged" to. If this was 1973, yes, Urban Meyer would be begging to coach ND. College football now is strictly and purely money and business. ONLY the fans and "special" players such as Manti have any type of loyalty to their college and teammates. No one cares anymore about being a "legend" or working with integrity and honor. It's ALL about the M-O-N-E-Y!

This guy(Kelly) and I share a major in Political Science. He recruits against USC and realizes its easier to recruit to Hollywood and thus his fun and gun Works better and he becomes Pete Carroll part deaux in his DREAMS He's too sly. I want a guy I can trust, but it looks like he may get his mulligan. Wish he'd just play golf and coach UCLA.

JTennant
This guy writes for absolute dog ****. Baylor didn't fire their coach let alone for off field reasons.. How many sentences is he going to begin with a conjunctive adverb, preposition, or simply lead us into confusing puzzle of independent and dependent clauses. Thought art brIles was fired for the off field stuff and they've just had an interim for this season? And I agree it's a business but notre dame should take that approach too and fire his ungrateful underachieving a $$
TexasDomer
Art Briles was 100 percent fired by Baylor for off field issues. http://www.si.com/college-football/2016/09/07/baylor-art-briles-sexual-assault-scandal-apology

Gonkers
I listened to Eric Hansen on the radio tonight and he was discussing the USC rumors. He said he doesn't know Dan Wolken very well but said his articles have been fairly inaccurate in the past regarding Notre Dame. Because of the source and timing of the article (why didn't this come out earlier?), he's highly cautious about believing it.
