NDNorm
I knew it was trouble when those pitches Chapman usually threw by guys were getting fouled off. Then BAM!
ELDER06
Maddon makes Brian Kelly look like a fuggin genius.
FaithInIrish Forever
No idea why he took Hendricks out after only 62 pitches and pitching well. Smoltzie called the safety squeeze, but that kid has some pop and only needed a fly ball..

NDNorm
For the most part, I really like Maddon, but damn, there's been some head-scratchers in this one.

FaithInIrish Forever
backup catchers with two rbi's that makes baseball awesome. Only a admirer of the Cubbies for the night but the unlikely heroes would be Ross and Montero!

Game ended at at 9:45 how do you guys stay up until 1:00 am for these games ! well, I accidently take a little nap during the 9th inning and rain delay and wake up just in time to see them pulling off the tarp to start the 10th. Then it was hell trying to fall asleep after the post game celebration! So happy for Cub's fans!

NDNorm
So many emotions were going on during and after the game. I'm still in shock. CUBS WORLD SERIES CHAMPS! I know....it's hard to sink in yet. I grew up on the Cubs back in the 80's in So. Bend when we only had a mast antenna and no cable TV yet. WGN was thee station to watch, so I watched a ton of games every summer.... but having said that, it's hard for me to truly understand how much this means to people from Chitown who grew up w/their hometown team, going to a ton of games at Wrigley, and convincing themselves they would just never see this moment in their lifetimes. I feel incredibly awesome for those folks.
