KamaraPolice
Dude just use your old handle. You're not fooling anyone.... I was thinking the same exact ****. Dude is so giddy about Kelly and the team shitting the bed he can't control himself.
coltssb
The sad thing is look at that list. BK has more wins and better winning percentage then 90 percent of the coaches on there. Doesn't mean he needs to stay here. Just that the lack of high quality candidates are slim. The one guy that clearly sticks out that isn't Saban or Meyer is Chris Peterson. We need to go after him badly.

I'm sure some posters will love the chance to rip Notre Dame and go on and on about how Notre Dame will never be relevant, etc. However, there's a good chance if he turns ND down it's because he doesn't want to leave the Northwest. I believe he was offered the USC job after Sticky Pete high tailed town and he turned it down to stay at Boise.
jfjkd1965
I've been following that website since week1 2016. After the Texas loss he was rated at #74 I believe. After the Stanford loss he's #1. Has anyone in history has fallen faster than Kelly?

ottawand
If you think Swarbrick would base his decision on on website that has no gravitas, your delusional. No he won't, but when a team quits on his coach and a coach quits on his team, everybody notices, even Swarbrick. From that there is no turning back, future seasons cannot salvage this, Kelly is a dead man walking and he knows it.
Officer Tim McCarthy
A little surprised no one has brought up Skip Holtz yet... Sure, he was let go from S Fl but the legacy alone is intriguing... Clearly gets ND and a direct connection to the last time we were truly relevant. Maybe not the 1a choice but better than Kelly. Also I'd see if Narduzzi is interested as well. Talk about tough teams.

Look at other threads I advocate Kelly gone a lot but I realize he is most certainly getting 2017 as this is his mulligan.
NDNorm
The one guy that clearly sticks out that isn't Saban or Meyer is Chris Peterson. We need to go after him badly. I can't say "never," but it's as close to the case as can be w/Petersen. His career motivations don't match the average coach, as this article points out. Think about how long he remained at Boise when other programs were beating down his door to get him. I think he is right where he plans to be for a very long time, as long as he keeps winning games and keeps UW as a major player in the conf. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/chris-petersen-s-move-to-washington-was-a-matter-of-better-fit-over-glamour-job-214901733.html;_ylt=A0LEViUuVAZYcv8AbQsnnIlQ;_ylu=X3oDMTE0MTJtMWwwBGNvbG8DYmYxBHBvcwMxBHZ0aWQDRkZVSTNDMV8xBHNlYwNzcg--
goirish83
Peterson would be my first choice and I agree he is the closest coach in my opinion to that upper elite tier of saban Meyer and maybe harbaugh. I think our chances of getting him are about as likely as getting those guys though unfortunately, hope I'm wrong. My next 4 picks that I would hope would be realistic possibilities would be 1) herman- I realize this is a long shot but with houston not joining the big 12 now he may be a little more likely to leave and I know he's unlikely to choose us over Texas but you never know 2) pj fleck- definitely a bit of a risky pick but seems to be a 180 degree difference from Kelly which is just what I think this program needs right now 3) Larry fedora - has proven he can get things done at a big time school 4) miles- questions with his decision making and on field coaching moves but talk about a big name with a proven track record. I understand he may not pull in sec talent here but he also isn't playing an sec schedule every year, I think he would be an upgrade for sure Edited October 18, 2016 by goirish83
