...a poster on II is stating that a rumor is circulating that James Wilson will be opening his recruitment back up possibly. According to the poster, Wilson is concerned with the Reggie Bush mess and the probation that could follow.

 

Again, I know nothing concrete on this and have zero reason to believe it is true. but it makes some sense. If so, gotta like ND's chances.

Wow... wouldn't that be nice. I was just thinking the other day how bummed I am about Wilson. He's really the only recruit I wish we hadn't lost out on.

if this is true and he backs off his USC commit then he'll be irish. who knows how long the reggie bush investigation will take and my bet is nothing happens to USC. when he committed to USC i got the impression that he had a lot of west coast fun when he visited there compared to ND.

I saw that too Broke and also heard Fla and some other schools were still contacting Wilson. Unfortunately I don't think anything will come down on SC, although this might be an excuse to open up his recruitment if he had any reservations...could get interesting. Good points on Mrs. Wilson, she just might be able to help the Irish cause and get her son back on track!

All true but in the whole when you are discussing an Urban campus. You get into pat downs for guns at parties. The enviornment is day and night. Just at University of Louisville, an Urban, right off the corner you will find well known street people slumped right next to the bookstore building pan handling. This is NOT against the poor or destitute but access is too easy. Start going towards drugs and thug street people having the same access.

 

If your not grounded well it's just way too easy to trip up. It would be nice South Bend had more places for students but on the whole if you gotta take a gun to a school dance avoid that campus.

I am worried about you russ. Some of your recent posts lead me to believe that your faith in ND has been shaken. Maybe you are buying in to the TW CW comparisons or something....I don't know what it is, but you are clearly looking at ND in a different light.

 

Just sit back and take a deep breath, and realize that this ain't TW's ND. That time has passed. Yeah, scUM laid it to us, but one game does not make a season. Be happy knowing that CW is righting the ship and all will be ok. We may not win a NC this year (then again, we just might), but I can bet you that ND is not nearly as bad off as you are making them out to be.
