I believe these are all official visits. I'm sure there will be many more names added to this list.

Added, don't know how I forgot him.

thanks Danger.

Great to have these key prospects interacting with commits (Clausen, Ragone et al) again this weekend, who will no doubt be putting in the good word.

One question - not to get this too off track, but for an "unofficial", the prospects pay their own way (and I assume are on their own for tickets), but beyond that are unofficial visitors also to get field passes, visit the locker room after the game, hang out with the official visitors, etc.?

Or do the unofficials just come to the game and go home like almost all the other fans do?

unofficials pay their own way but I'm sure the university provides the tix. but I assume that the recruits have to pay for the tickets.

I think unofficial visits have to pay for everything, but they may get free tickets. If not then they pay the face value which isn't too much.

I wish I was visiting for the scUM game!

This was posted by Svoboda w/ Irishenvy who most of know does a great job.

(Regarding an unofficial visit for the Michigan game this weekend)

Jonas Gray

Jonas Gray will be there also !!!

Isn't Benn coming this weekend too?

Also add RoJo to the list...right?

Barksdale

I know where the recruits are going to be during the game. I know the recruits will be at the pep rally on Friday night.

But, where will they be before the game? With the team or on campus for the activities???

Mark Kallen on Irish Blue & Gold first reported this morning that Greg Little 6-5 342 OG who visited for the PA St game "arrived in town in a limo. He then went to the game and afterwards had dinner with the team. His host was Morrice Richardson and evidently, Richardson was quite the ambassador for Notre Dame. On Sunday, Little took a tour of the campus, which included an "academic tour." He also met with offensive coach John Latina, who told him that early playing time was a possibility. Little was impressed with the crowd at the game - something that many players might not have said two season's ago. He listed the Irish are in his top three. He will make his decision at the US Army all-star game in January."

Shortly after he sent an update. "Massive offensive lineman, Chris Little will make his college choice mostly likely on Saturday. Little will be make a return trip to Notre Dame for the Michigan game. He is expected to announce his choice of Notre Dame at that time. Little would be the ninth commitment of the recruiting class of 2007."

First, it is imperative to get them to visit the campus, preferrably on a football weekend. Then let the "essence of Notre Dame" do its magic. If the above report is true - and why else would Little be coming back?

Does anyone know whether or not Ian Williams or Trinton Sturdevant actually made it to the PA State game? I can see why Sturdevant, who has already committed to GA, might want to keep a low profile. But they were the only two names on the visiting list for whom there were no quotes/comments on their visit. I understand from someone who was present that Arrelious Benn, who was making his third trip to Notre Dame, "sounded like he wanted to make a commitment on the spot". He was quoted as saying, "It's tempting to end things, but I want to make sure I'm doing this right." It seems like, the long wait (for recruitniks) is nearly over, and the floodgates are about to open.
