That's exactly it. Notable difference. The QB recruiting in the social media world seems to be the key. CJ and Deuce are both really active on other targets socials. Golden just said Deuce was in his ear and it was a big reason. They're forming teams to win a natty. Of course it's not only about NIL. As to track, I think it goes along with the higher level recruits that they are more commonly one sport, pro focused. 2nd sport being track, only as football training and to get times recorded for their profile. Even the big guys run sprints just to work speed and get official times. I doubt we'll see any distance runners.

Made more money via NIL last year than the NFL this year: “The Commanders gave former Notre Dame QB Sam Hartman one of the biggest guarantees among undrafted free agents: a $20,000 signing bonus and $225,000 base salary guarantee. A sign Hartman is in Washington’s plans for 2024.” -

I noticed that Meadows, Taylor and other recruits run track. Is it my imagination or is there a higher percent of Irish recruits running track in the current (2025 and 2026) classes than we saw before? -

Good to see Freeman and ND deciding to battle Georgia and Alabama for recruits rather than being happy to go shopping down a different aisle... -

Thee seemed to be a number of people who were upbeat about Liufau. It will be interesting to see how his game translates to the NFL.
