February 18, 201510 yr Author I think that is about right. He will have to really shine at the combine to push up before the 5th round for sure.
February 18, 201510 yr Whatcha think guys? I think he'll get drafted.. 5-7 This is my take as well and I agree with that NFL analysis. He's got most of the attributes a team would want outside of speed and he's still learning to use them. I wouldn't be surprised if he ran around a 4.55 forty but if he manages to break into the 4.4s, he may go as high as the fourth.
February 18, 201510 yr well, no receiver can high-point the football because it is about impossible to catch the football at it's highest point most of the time. :llama:

February 19, 201510 yr Seems reasonable, I think he gets drafted, but in the lower rounds. Why would teams take a risk with a high draft pick after a year away from the field. However, most of the 6 and 7 round picks have far less talent than Daniels has shown. I would easily take him in the later rounds.

February 19, 201510 yr Author especially when he can't drive his hips into his breaks and rounds them off. I mean SMH.. I think it all comes down to mental preparation and desire/effort for Mr. Daniels. We never saw the best of DD on the field. Now that he hasn't read any of his own press clippings for a year (except the embarrassing ones) maybe he will apply himself and avoid the smoke his dad has blown up his rear. His situation almost feels the same as GAIIIs.

I am sorry, but DD isn't going to go from the guy we saw on the field to the guy we hoped we would see on the field after a year away from football.....just not happenin. DD is a project....period. He needed to stay at the college level (any college) and work out the kinks. Now DD will need a monster combine AND knock the interviews out of the park just to get considered for a pick.
