Down to Notre Dame, Ohio St, and Michigan St. Announcing on June 7. Rated the #10 best defensive end in the country and #2 player in Indiana. Likes ND a lot along with the staff and the academics. Ft Wayne is of course where Jaylon and Tranquill hail from along with former ND star Tyler Eifert. We need to land this kid.

OSU is the favorite right now

FU O$U... I want this kid!

I think he is OSU, but I hope I'm wrong. Still awhile until June. A lot can change.

This kid goes to school about 5 minutes away from my work. Talented kid. I think OSU, hopefully I am wrong.

didn't think schools were allowed to be that close to your "place of business"

lol, thought you'd like that

in all seriousness, let this kid see you dressed in OSU garb...can only help our cause.

in real seriousness, cannot lose Indy kids (that qualify for ND) to OSU

or residence...

There are two kids in Fort Wayne that are ranked high and ND is going after. This kid and Austin Mack. Mack goes to the same high school that Jaylon went to. There is also a very good chance that OSU ends up with both of these kids. I would consider losing two Fort Wayne kids a big blow to ND, as we have had pretty good success in the Fort. Maybe i should start wearing OSU gear and going to these kids games and acting like an Ahole. lol

We'll buy you the beer and costume and send you on your way. Just be yourself ;).

PS. Great joke somebody had on you. Too early for line of the year?

Rivals has a thread saying that a current Ohio St commit basically said that Robertson is looking elsewhere currently. Think we have a solid chance here. ND has history of recruiting Ft Wayne very well. Landing him and King would be strong.

I have heard that Mack is leaning Ohio St. That's ok considering we have a lot of talent right now at receiver. It's not a major priority in this class. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if we may be looking at a transfer here in the future. Staff has killed receiver lately.

If that's true that is awesome news. Earlier in the process I was confident we would land both Robertson and Mack. Hoping we land both, but for awhile it has seemed all OSU. ND needs another top flight DL to come in. Landing both Robertson and King would be insane.

The quote was from a current defensive end commit in Robertson's class, Johnathan Cooper. Can't read too much into it, but it is encouraging. I think we have a decent shot at getting both Robertson and King. Would be very disappointing to not land at least one. You gotta think Jaylon and Tranquill are going to be in Robertson's ear. Tyler Eifert didn't do too badly either, eh?

I'm really hoping that Jaylon is in both Robertson's and Mack's ears...especially since Mack goes to the Luers. Another defender to keep an eye on is Lokeni Toailoa. Manti Te'o is his idol, and he wears number 5 because of him. Top 50-100 linebacker out of Cali.

I don't want Urban even getting a toe into the Ft Wayne area. It's starting to be a good recruiting foothold. Let's keep it that way.

Committed to the Spartans today.

Losing out on him and King is a punch in the gut. All I can say is keep the press on them until February, Coney was a solid UF commit last year.

Need to start landing done elite talent. Depth is there, we need difference makers.
