Hey does anyone have a scout membership? They have an article interviewing him after the visit this weekend, just wondering if someone could summarize.

Basically that he enjoyed his visit and it sounds like his Mom really enjoyed it as well (she is impressed with the academics).

 

Sounds like he's still taking visit (Illinois is the only one scheduled right now), and doesn't know when he'll commit.

 

I can't see him not committing to ND at this point, based on ND's offensive performance versus the rest of the teams he's looking at.

rutgers smashed the Illini this past weekend, i doubt hughes, wilson and benn will be looking at them anymore.

As TD and I have said for some time now, Benn IS Irish and HAS BEEN Irish for quite some time.

I think when Benn verbs that will get the ball rolling for the other bluechip players to fall in line.

I sure hope he is Irish in the end. Grimes, Jackson, Gallup, Paris, Benn, Kumara... Just to think of what our offense will be capable when you throw Jimmy Clausen's name in. It just makes me smile.

Don't forget Hord will only be a sophmore after his medical redshirt year and grimes a junior.

I agree with you TD. I know that many of us ND fans, with myself included, have been frustated with how long it's been since our last commitment (Andrew Nuss on June 29, seems like years ago).

 

Even if Benn has his mind already, like most of us at DD and recruiting experts believe, he still wants to make sure he makes the right decision.

 

And heck, if I were in his shoes I'd make teams that I disliked (like USC and Ohio St.), I wouldn't mind having them waste their money on me taking an official visit lol.

Yeah i'd be going to all the major stadiums and major programs, just to say I did it.
