Anybody have any information regarding this? Besides the failed Hoke rumor, seems to be some info being tossed around about possible changes being made to the staff.

Okay, sounds like LeFleur is off to the NFL. Guess Atlanta's hiring him away. Anyone else leaving??

247 Sports is reporting the Matt LaFleur will be named QB's coach of the Atlanta Falcons. That might explain the Malik Zaire tweet.

The other tweet was Jay Hayes, which would lead to speculation that Elston got the job he was after, Central Michigan head coach maybe?

Hadn't heard about LeFleur but makes sense since he worked for Shanahan at Washington. If true for Elston, good for him and trust Kelly put in a good word. Maybe Quinn comes into play and interesting to learn what else develops. Congrats and good luck to both.

It's a good thing if the assistants keep getting promoted.

so, based on rumors and such:

LaFleur to Falcons NFL

VanGorder to Raiders NFL DC

Cooks to OU Secondary

Elston to CMU Head Coach

am I missing any? If that all came through, that would be quite a turnover (of course if won't ALL come through, at least not likely).

I don't thibk BVG is going back to NFL but that's just me at the moment /rumors

Conner Hanratty done with Football....

That's quite an article.

-Wasn't aware that Russell was enrolled at UDub.

-Seems like there's more uncertainty regarding Ishaq's return than I thought.

-Sounds like a lot of the coaching talk is true. "We have 9 coaches today" sounds to me like "we'll have 9 coaches in two weeks but they'll be different coaches than the 9 we have today".

Is that a normal thing for guys on suspension to do? Enroll at another school....on the other side of the country....with a fairly well-established D1 football program??? Obviously Kelly doesn't sound too concerned, I've just never heard of that before

Julius Jones enrolled at ASU while he was ineligible at ND.

Bolded three were NOT in recruiting Vignette videos that I saw(where they describe recruits).

Elston was, BUT they could have taped before that Job was open

So I think VanGorder's hat might be in the ring at the Raiders.

DenBrock was

Elliot was

Alford was

Booker was

Elston was(Hayes tweet, suggests he or BVG I would speculate)

McCarthy left

I'm sure Lafleur and cooks are gone.

So at least two as many as 4. Suggests an up and down season or Diaco's staff had trouble behind close doors with BVG.

Sounds like we have another year of "zone blocking"

smh

Norton got the job.

Good. That would have been bad for the program I think. Grass is always greener, but I thought he made some chicken salad.

That "zone blocking" did pretty well against LSU, a universally recognized defense.

Yes but only because his brother was playing pro ball in the state...
