God have mercy, they are the favorite for three of the five uncommitted prospects today.

If they sign Iman Marshall, Rasheem Green and John Houston they are likely to end up with the number one class. I really don't like the trend in their recruiting right now. Would be nice to win some of the CA battles with them, and if not it is nice to see UCLA win those battles.

Yeah, they are cleaning house. I think that Porter Gustin kid's gonna be a stud too for them at LB. Already can't wait for the Octob. 17th showdown. Talk about about somebody we owe some payback to.

We really need an inroad in that part of CA. JSerra in Gardena and Long Beach Poly are both huge SC schools.

If it helps you feel better, Sark isn't 1/10th the coach that Pete Carroll is. He'll waste most of that talent.

It's also a bit apples to oranges a bit when it comes to those kids; I think all are from in-state. ND does well in-state also, but that's Indiana, not Cali. It's tough, and ND has it's share of Cali players, but sometimes a kid just wants to stay home.

That is the X-factor, but given the fact that national championships begin on signing day, he's off to a hell of a start. I actually haven't seen enough of his teams play to have a good feel of what he can do with all this talent. Hope you're right.

Dominoes falling. Rasheem Green committed to SC.

And now Houston Jr. to SC. Praying that Iman Marshall picks someone else.

Cordell Broadus signed with UCLA, that is fun news :)

USC's recruiting is great every year, IMO. No big deal to me, personally. ASU and others show what matters more...

No need to beat a dead horse here. We all saw this coming with the return of steve s.

Aye, I have kicked the horse enough, I have nothing left but a bucket full of animosity which I will leave off the internet.

Fixed it. I think I could recruit a top 5 class there.

I feel your pain Eddie. But we got a good class. Who knows? There might be some icing for the cake to come.

I am hoping to see some good offseason transfer type moves. The strike out on safety is the only real issue. We really got some great players this year and very few unpleasant surprises, even if the stars and ratings systems don't necessarily agree.

Definitely agree. Think we got more than a few guys that deserve higher rankings, and will out play their stars.

Very kids from those L.A. City Section schools want anything to do with ND. LBP, Serra, Crenshaw, Dorsey, Narbonne.......the list is very long. Those kids have sc pounded into their heads from birth.

I believe to help with this that ND needs a lot more night games because of the time zone change. When I was in high school my football team had practice on Saturday until noon and then a lot of the players had voluntary weights and film study with the coaches. I wouldn't get home till 5-6 on the West coast and the only games on that late were pac-10 games. If you can't watch or follow the team its very hard to make a connection and want to play for that school.

I doubt it, you would be too busy trying to run through all of the song girls.?

Quote from Sark " we need to build a football team to be a bully. I think we did that". Sure hope Jack was listening. They will be again. Mark my words. Unless we wanna be a bitch to USC for the next decade, we better get the right attitude in recruiting, admissions and coaching.
