The QB didn't flip as much as he was pushed by Texas. They're confident they are flipping Kyler, the 5* commit at QB for A&M, and they're still recruiting other qb's too.

Bahahahahaha He flipped a 3/4 star qb from Texas, while they're chasing Murray. He'll add a bunch of low 3 stars that ND never even looked at. Shaking in my boots over here.
January 25, 201510 yr Kind of interesting he went after another QB when he already has a very good one in this class already on campus. I suspect maybe this is only for depth / insurance.
January 25, 201510 yr Don't discount him. It will take time to get to the point where he is poaching 5 stars, but he will be given what it takes to win there and WILL win. We are now just going to have to work harder. Harbaugh doesn't golf and go and Safari and crap like that. He will LIVE to recruit and the bar has been raised in the Midwest, especially on the offensive line.

Heistand and and Kelly have pretty much picked who they wanted. UM has a lonnng ways to go. Yes they'll win, because the big ten will continue to suck and Harbaugh is a good coach. And yes they'll recruit well. I just don't think I care.
January 25, 201510 yr Michigan has always gotten its athletes. This was really the only year where it was bad, and that's because guys knew Hoke was on his way out and the program was a joke. I'm not really worried. ND's recruiting will not go down because of this.
January 25, 201510 yr Not too worried about Harbaugh at this point. Michigan only has 8 commits for this 2015 class. I figured they'd have more at this point.
January 25, 201510 yr Hoke had the 2md best recuiting class at one point. Not sure Harbaugh is going to do much better than that. I am really interested to see how this all works out, he could save UM or bury them for years.
January 25, 201510 yr Well according to Steve Lorenz (Loy's doppelganger), Michigan should land the top 25 in next years class. maybe a few top 50 kids if its a bad season.
January 25, 201510 yr Bahahahahaha He'll add a bunch of low 3 stars that ND never even looked at. Shaking in my boots over here. He will sign those guys and win with them... A worthy frickin adversary dude

Shaking in my boots over here.[/quote Due to the obscene amount 3 stars committed the last two years I'd watch what you're saying Really? Obscene? Thinking you're talking about Michigan? Everyone signs 3 stars, The SEC included. But we've signed 11,12,6 three stars the last 3 classes. That compared favorably to everyone this side of Bama. We have more 4 stars in each of our last two classes than UM has in 2014 and 2015 combined. We didn't sign 2 star OTs. Edited January 25, 201510 yr by mtl_irish03
January 25, 201510 yr He will sign those guys and win with them... A worthy frickin adversary dude He's a good coach so yes he'll "win", eventually. It's the big ten. As for an adversary, well we don't play them and I don't see them making the playoff anytime soon. So I just don't care.
January 26, 201510 yr Heard a rumor that Harbaugh will be in Noblesville this week trying to flip Brandon Knight from IU for his O-line. Heard it's not going to happen.
January 27, 201510 yr Anyone else see this as somewhat of a good thing in a way? I realize that ND is competing for similar kids in similar areas, but so is Urban. If Harbaugh can steal some of the high-end talent that would otherwise be headed for Columbus, it may help slow down the OSU love-train and even out the 2 teams. Now that we're not playing UM, the better they are to allow a more competitive balance between them, OSU, and MSU, the more likely they all suffer a loss and benefit us for a playoff position, no?

Don't see how it could have a positive impact on ND.
January 27, 201510 yr Heard a rumor that Harbaugh will be in Noblesville this week trying to flip Brandon Knight from IU for his O-line. Heard it's not going to happen.I honestly thought he would have more recruits and be making more noise at this point. Starting to think he's not going to have enough time to make a meaningful impact on the '15 class.
January 27, 201510 yr Yes, time is running short for Harbaugh to make much of an impact in this recruiting cycle. I think he will be more formidable on the recruiting trail beginning with next year's recruits.
