Mattingly, He had one interception in the big game? Did he really do anything else? Hood only played one season 259 yards 4 TD, don't scream much to me. Read a article on Twitter about all of our transfers, did anyone see it?

Elijah Hood had 259 yards as a freshman but missed 5 games due to injury.

Greg Bryant had 289 yards as a sophomore and didn't miss any games due to injury. I know that screams something to a lot of people.

Greg Bryant also seems pretty over rated to me. But hopefully will take a huge step next year. Also, I wish Kelly would at least gives him more carries.

I think Ronald Darby is doing OK

All that said, though, a lot of the players we just listed were highly rated coming out of HS. McKinney looks good, but no where near a Darby or Hood level.

i really saw a lot of talent watching Mckinney's film. Big loss imo. Good luck to him.

wasn't he a witness that refused to testify in the Winston case? maybe doing well on the field but off the field still a question mark in my mind. happy he went else where before enrolling might have been another lynch for ND.

at least it happened before the signing deadline and they can see if anyone else is out there. I wish him well but it is a loss of talent.

4 star from Texas.. I think its a big loss, not only because the depth issue we had, but he is a really good player.

Loss unless we can replace. He had size and seemed underrated at least at first.

 

Need to pick up good replacement.

 

Harder to run against teams with big strong safeties.

IMO not a big loss this class, plenty of guys left that can play safety. Hopefully, they don't get hurt. Now, if we don't get 2-3 safeties in 16, then yes a bigger concern.
