Hope you don't mind me picking your brain again.

First off, take an Official moment to gloat about being the first to see Malik's potential:grin:

1) Tough ending to the regular season, how did you cope?

2) What was your low point?

3) Besides the Bowl win and the Michigan win, any high points? (making you work for it)

4) On a scale of 1-10 and ten being most favorable. How is your faith in Kelly getting ND into the playoffs in the next 3 years?

5) Using the same scale, what's you feeling on EG returning?

6) Hanratty, Rabasa, Councell, and Hounshell.Who stays? who goes and why?

7) Do you believe Grace can come back and contribute or is Coach K blowing hot air?

8) Any concern about Barratti's health, career ending wise going forward?

9) Favorite sports movie not rudy?

10) You have an autographed Manti jersey and and autographed Jaylon Jersey. You have to give one away, which do you keep?

11) What do you tell the Notre Dame haters about our future?

12) Do you see a strong finish to our recruiting class?

13) With Ishaq returning and trumbetti healthy. does romeo start next year?

14) you are a 5* recruit who are your top five schools and why?

15) Finally, give us our recruits that you are high on from this class. Then give us your prediction for the top freshmen performer?

Thanks

i'll go ahead and answer these.

1. wasn't to hard to cope, being a ND fan im use to disappointment.

2. the northwestern lose, not sure why BK went for 2 pts. and not sure why he didn't kneel on the football.

3. Stanford and for the 5 seconds where I thought ND had beaten FSU.

4. if BK becomes dedicated to running the ball like in the bowl game the 8. if he goes back to passing the ball all the time then 5.

5. 4 if ziare gets the job and I think he will.

6. hanratty, he's the only one who's really contributed during his ND career.

7. grace can contribute but it maybe on special teams, at this point he'll have a hard time fighting off morgan and martini for a spot at MLB.

8. it's to bad cause I like barrati but I think he's done, one to many injuries.

9. field of dreams.

10. I don't have either but I think I'd go with manti, the dude was a legend while at ND.

11. kick us when were down cause it might not last long.

12. don't think ND will be landing 5-stars left and right but ND should finish well.

13. no romeo doesn't start next year. imo it'll be trumbetti.

14. top 5 in no particular order. ND, Stanford, Nebraska, iowa and k-state (stay in the Midwest I guess).

15. I think Justin yoon is ND top preforming freshmen next year. im high on hodge, tillery, Barajas, bilal, boykin, coleman, Crawford, alize jones, ruhland, sanders, wimbush.

Hope you don't mind me picking your brain again.

1. After the Northwestern loss I escaped into basketball. I saw big things coming for both the men and women's teams. I watch all the games. The season was the worst ever because it had so much potential and I just lost it after the Nothwestern game. I was so down on Kelly for the extra point blunder. Could not conceive of him going for two and said at the time that it could cost us, and it did.

2. Low point was the Northwestern game, but there were many to choose from. During the ASU game I kept thinking this wouldn't be happening with Malik.

3. High point was the Florida State game when I thought we won it. I still think we won it. Of course the high didn't last very long!!!

4. I give it a 7. I think next year is the year but Kelly can screw it up. My faith is in Malik, not Kelly. He has to stay healthy.

5. It all depends on what kind of offer Golson gets. I understand he is seeking other schools so he may well be gone. Give it a 8 that he leave.

6. Don't see one keeper there honestly.

7. I do think Grace comes back but don't see him starting. He was a bit slow and may have lost another step. Not your best linebacker for the spread offenses.

8. I think Barratti is history.

9. Hoosiers

10. Keeping Manti's jersey. Have a picture of him with my daughter at a ND basketball game.

11. I tell them we are better than 2012 and that our offense is going to be prolific. Malik has three years of domination.

12. Absolutely a strong finish. Williams, St. Brown and a safety. (Meadors)

13. Good question. No doubt he plays and I hope he is bigger, but Ishaq should start. Okwara and Trumbetti are neck and neck.

14. As a 5 star recruit I am Notre Dame through and through. I commit day one and help recruit the rest of the class.

15. Aliz'e Jones will be a major contributor as a freshman. He will be the top contributor. Winbush is a stud and a winner in the mold of Malik. Tillery will be very solid on the D line but not this year. Hoge will be a starter in time. Barajas is the best of three very good linebackers and they can all run.

Good Responses Okie and as usual we pretty much agree.

Northwestern made me question if Kelly was the guy

LSU renewed a bit of faith that he can be.

Added to that I don't think coaching changes Usually help. I'm a consistency and patience guy unless they totally lose the team

Question 14 intrigues so I'll answer:

1. Notre Dame (for obvious reasons)

2. Oregon (beautiful campus and state, Nike connection, great football)

3. Nebraska (Family connection and great football tradition)

4. Northwestern (Family connection and love Chicago)

5. Stanford (Education and the weather)

Hoge will be our captain one day...

I like that question 14 too.

ND, University of Texas, Stanford, USC, Penn State.

You could get a great education and meaningful degree at all of these. You would be surrounded by good/great recruits. Austin, Palo Alto, and LA have nice weather, lots to do, and great scenery.

I would have included Vanderbilt but I don't think they'd have the same calibre recruits, and I couldn't stomach playing the SEC.

I have to say a few years ago we played at Oregon in the baseball regionals and I have nothing good to say about Oregon I was completely miserable there...,for a whole week I didn't see the sun and it sprinkled/misted the whole time there....I figured I just caught a bad week but some guys on their team said it was always like that

I was so glad to return to TN even though they hosed us on a call at the plate to send us home

I've always been Irish but other schools I would consider are

Ole Miss

UT

Wisconsin (former OL...would love to block in that offense)

GT

Stanford

That's interesting. We had a completely different experience. I was up there for a baseball tournament a few years back myself and the weather was great. It did rain a few days, but it was beautiful.

Lived in Portland for two years. Cloudy a lot, moderate amount of rain, but overall very nice weather. Great scenery.

The facilities, student activities, and overall college atmosphere would almost certainly outweigh the clouds in a kid's thoughts about whether he wanted to become a Duck.

That part of the country is quite nice, really.

I have some family that moved out there about 5 years ago. They love it.
