I have not been a fan of Auguste but this is still huge news and a total disappointment if true.

This news can eat a bag a dicks. Are you serious? One of the best ND teams I can remember for some time and it's about go down the toilet while other shady programs laugh their way into the tourney. Really does feel like ND is cursed in basically everything it does excluding men's soccer. Feeling successful, getting national pub? Blam! DuLac drops the hammer on you...

I would have bet the house that we would have beat them with Auguste on board. We shot extremely poorly against them but still won with Grant taking it to the hole. Bound to shoot better this time, but without Auguste I'm just not excited about this season any more.

There's a chance he won't be out the entire year. Also, I think the Irish come together, play very well tonight, and get a W. Auguste or not, this is still a guard dominated team and should be fun to watch.

It seems to never end with ND sport teams, it's a shame but no point in dwelling on it. What happened with him someone proofread his paper too?

 

Now we need Geben to step up, he was a 4 star recruit and a big man so he needs to take over that role. Beachem, Torres, and Katenda are the only other guys over 6'8 on the roster, how much of a dropoff are these guys from Auguste? and who is likely to take over his role?

I heard its only tonight and not long term. He's not travelling with the team to get some things in order in South Bend.

Amen. Colson is only 6' 5'' but has very long arms and was very aggressive tonight. He also can score some and is very good at the free throw line. Wish he was 6' 9''.

 

Hope above poster was right that Zach comes back next game. If he does and we beat Miami we are assured top ten in the next poll.

 

Don't give up on Geben. He looks like Cooley as a freshman. Brey seems to transform these big men.

This doesn't sound like the suspended 4 issue. More like he needs to finish some reports.

I wasn't able to watch any of the game but at least they won! Hopefully Auguste gets things taken care of, and it only makes the team better!

what the hell is going on with ND athletes and academics, I can never remember it ever being this bad.

At least it is academics and not pot, DUI or assaulting an officer.
