January 12, 201510 yr Author Being a former and current teammate of Manti, at least he's being proactive about proving a person exists
January 12, 201510 yr Hey, I guess he was honest and straight-forward on what he wanted and apparently had the balls to say it. Unlike most guys that actually want this but lie to get it. So, you know, there's that... But, $100k a year for a sex toy, seems a bit steep relatively to his salary. Edited January 12, 201510 yr by SDIrishFan
January 12, 201510 yr So, our football players are not required to take English classes? My opinion of the Notre Dame education for it's football players is slowly going down the shitter..
January 13, 201510 yr So, our football players are not required to take English classes? My opinion of the Notre Dame education for it's football players is slowly going down the shitter.. That is the internet my friend. Most people come across like total idiots. He probably doesn't own a keyboard specially designed for his swolled meathooks.
January 13, 201510 yr That is the internet my friend. Most people come across like total idiots. He probably doesn't own a keyboard specially designed for his swolled meathooks. colloquial is one thing, but I had to read some of that twice to understand what he was trying to say...
January 13, 201510 yr colloquial is one thing, but I had to read some of that twice to understand what he was trying to say... Therein lies your mistake. If what they say of the internet is true, he was probably trying to type one handed. :fear:
January 13, 201510 yr colloquial is one thing, but I had to read some of that twice to understand what he was trying to say... LOL, I gave up trying to read it. I think I can understand Russian better then I can this online shorthand. 1) The good thing is this can protect him from some possible allegations down the line. 2) Have to ask, do anyone here think Manti is gay?
January 13, 201510 yr Sounds like a bogus account. Trevor tweeted he already reported it to the NFL security office.
January 13, 201510 yr Sounds like a bogus account. Trevor tweeted he already reported it to the NFL security office. Yeah it's at the bottom of the article that it wasn't him. Thank the he man upstairs.

I mean, would this really be a big deal? a) it's nothing illegal b) why be a pro athlete without side pieces c) the most embarrassing aspect is his spelling Edited January 13, 201510 yr by Pregame
January 13, 201510 yr Deadspin is ridiculous... Journalists need to check their damn sources before posting ****. I would ****ing sue for that ****. Defamation of character or something. **** like this pisses me off.
January 14, 201510 yr Def. NOT him and I could not care less if Manti is gay. He seems like a genuine and great person.
January 16, 201510 yr Deadspin is ridiculous... Journalists need to check their damn sources before posting ****. I would ****ing sue for that ****. Defamation of character or something. **** like this pisses me off. Relax dude. You seem 100x more upset than Robinson.
January 16, 201510 yr Relax dude. You seem 100x more upset than Robinson. I am with him, kind of tired of Deadspin. Trash reporting.
January 16, 201510 yr Author I am with him, kind of tired of Deadspin. Trash reporting. It's more focused on reporting funny/interesting happenings from the sports world. Stuff that ESPN, SI, etc wouldn't touch because it's either too offensive or too "silly." That being said, TMZ and Deadspin have been out front on some of the biggest sports stories in the last few years. Also, they weren't saying it was 100% Robinson (quite the opposite, I feel like the author was skeptical of its authenticity). Either way, we're talking about sports here, guys. Let your hair down, laugh a little. It's a sports site with a comedic tilt and that doesn't take everything to be life or death. Peter King, Gregg Easterbrook, etc all still writing their holier than thou articles that place the honor and dignity of sports on high for all to behold if that's more your brand of vodka.

You say that because the article is not about you. What if that article was about you and it was false? I agree with the rest of your post though.

Haha if it were me, I'd be happy that I was famous enough that someone would want to imitate me. I really do think Robinson handled it well too. Report it to the security experts and use humor to diffuse the situation. A lot of NFL players, hell people in the public spotlight in all verticals, could learn from him. Get ahead of all public relations disturbances by letting experts do all the heavy lifting, address the issue with a little humor without saying too much and boom, you're ahead of the game. January 17, 201510 yr I would like to have the 4 minutes wasted reading this thread (thinking the title was tongue-in-check) credited back to me by god. What a stupid thread.
