Here is the end of year 2014 depth chart with list of all possible players including the fab five.

Nice how they highlight players likely for draft, etc.

While we are losing a couple of key contributors - Koyak, Riggs, etc. The numbers are few. Hopefully Stanley sticks around. If we return the 3 amigo's (Ishaq, Russell, Daniels) - lookout.

Jarron Jones is the starting defensive tackle for 2015, not Matuska.

Aside from one spectacular catch, Koyack was far from being a key contributor...

If there was one thing I could wish for - on the offensive side of the ball, lord knows there is more than one problem on defense - it would be for someone to challenge at the right guard spot next season. Single greatest liability all seasons (and I blame that spot for contributing greatly to creating the conditions which produced many of those damn turnovers by the QB).

Omg. Thank you for beating me to that. Goodbye Koyack.

Guess I was the only one seeing him open up holes against LSU. 2 bucks he goes middle rounds (3-4).

All the same negative people who thought we would lose and piled on.

Like Hawaii - I follow this board a lot less because of all the amazing football commentary here. Addition by subtraction - as in subtraction of posters.

I think he did a good job with blocking in the LSU game, I guess I was taking your comment in the context of the entire season. I will take that bet. Maybe 5th round. Minnesota loves domers. They will draft him.

We have a great LB class coming in that I could see making an impact.

Except they already have two former domer TE

Amen to that! And did we already forget who caught the fourth down TD pass vs Stanford in the last minute of play to win the game?

The only catch of consequence he had this year...

-Just remember, we are replacing Riggs with Russell (who is arguably one of the best corners in the league) I basically see it as a switch, not a loss.

-Day seems to be coming back and I think he should

-Stanley is really the only big question mark and I hate to say it, but I think he leaves if the mock drafts results hold up.

-Koyack wont really be missed in the passing game, but he blocked pretty well this season. Smythe should be a good one though.

-With Williams coming back, that really helps the Dline

-If Daniels comes back, this WR corps will be stellar, but he is not a necessity. They would be fine without him.

Who steps up as TE? Smythe or Heurmann?

Lol. The obvious was not lost on my post.

Who steps up as TE? Smythe or Heurmann?

Lautua ....Smythe.

Can someone explain the colors on that page. I looked for a key but didn't see one.

I am guessing:

Black bold = graduating with no eligibility left

Purple = possibly leaving early for NFL

Red = graduating but....what, eligibility IS left?

EDIT: found the key further 'up' at OurLads, it is as follows:

GREEN -Rounds projected 1-3

RED -Rounds projected 4-6

BLACK - Rounds projected 7-Priority Free agents

PURPLE- underclass projections Early rounds

EDIT: nvm... he found the key and I was wrong. :p

Most believe that Heurmann is strictly a receiving tight end. I think we will see Smythe and Weishar contribute the most in general at the tight end position. Heurmann will be like John Goodman type of player. Luatua will fill the blocking full back type of role. This is all assumptions, but this what I feel is the best case scenario. Hopefully Jones commits and we won't have to worry about TE for awhile.
