December 31, 201410 yr Definitely not a bad choice, but I'm always leery of coaches who made all their dough in the SEC particularly recruiting at state schools. If you're referring to the smaller recruiting pool due to academic restrictions, I certainly understand the trepidation. But he's booted enough high star kids off of UGA teams that I believe he runs as clean a program as you can run in the SEC.

Besides the fact that Richt is a half-*** coach who benefits from getting top notch recruits to fall *** backwards onto UGA's campus, what makes you think he would even consider coming to ND if Kelly leaves? Not to mention he has lost more big games than nearly any coach in the country.

HW was my first choice 5 years ago and I a willing to give him another year. If the team tunes in another 7-8 wins next year, I won't be upset if the administration cuts bait. My statement is based more on the possibility of Kelly leaving for the NFL. His name is mentioned in every interview I hear that discusses college coaches that may or will get NFL calls. Third, I don't know if he'd have any interest. I said I would take him over what I perceive to be the potentially available options.

You do have a tendency to discount those who think a change of HC might be in order with the often used "name the better alternative" response. Which really doesn't give credence to the possibility that you may be a myopic homer.
