I agree with the bolded, but how many times do people go to the Bama loss and say "See we didn't belong in that game, we were just lucky that year". You cant have it both ways folks.

I bet a trillion dollars ND was going to lose that game. Guess it's gonna take awhile to dig out of that hole.

I don't know, this game sort of cements my perceptions of Kelly. McGlinchey played better than Lombard ever did. The gameplan worked perfect for a depleted defense. Zaire looked more than capable.

 

Meanwhile, we saw none of this in a 4 game losing streak.

I don't even know why we bother coming up with different threads and titles....should just be 1 called "I don't like BK and I can't stand Golson and whatever you try to talk about does not matter to me because I'm going to swing it over to the above 2 points"

To be fair, LSU Oline did very well against our Dline in the run game. They just rarely had the ball and we kept possession. I think both Olines won yesterday.

I think it matters in regards to our image nationally. The country watched our team fold like a cheap tent the second half of the season. We needed to save face and help push away the negative talk in the offseason. I think a win against a traditional powerhouse will help in that regard.

I see! I turned on ESPN yesterday after the game. Right before my eyes Desmond Howard was praising us for playing "big boy football" last night. I thought for sure lightning was going to strike me dead!
