Posted September 9, 200618 yr 7 of 8 for 275 yards and three touchdowns as his night was over by the middle of the......SECOND.....quarter!!!!!!!! Oaks was up by 57 before the half!!!!
September 9, 200618 yr Playing HS kids No worries Sir John, he will be chuckin' balls for us next season.
September 9, 200618 yr I take it that you're not that big of a clausen fan sj? I think that he'll probably be making a few throws next year, but you can never tell how these kids are going to pan out.
September 9, 200618 yr You can say that grayson. I go with what we have not what is supposed to come or happen. I never say it can not be so.. I say it hasn't happened where it counts. Till then anyone is just a whistling which is a pretty tune but I don't want to puchase yet. Freshmen QB's do die on the field you know as well as looking brilliant in Division 1

I have this "unpopular opinion" but will hang onto it till?? September 2007.
September 10, 200618 yr the kid is a stud, and the more and more i think about it the more i think that JC will start next season, but im not thinking about that right now all i am thinking about is our boy brady quinn, trying to enjoy his last season as a part of the irish football team.
September 10, 200618 yr glad to see him sitting some this year... don't want him to get rusty, but really dont' want him to get injured.
September 10, 200618 yr With those stats, I'm starting to think that we need JC's receivers. Unless each pass was 50yds and in the end zone, these WRs did some serious work that night!
September 11, 200618 yr well lets see next year its west, grimes, hord, and maybe freshman receivers like Benn. he can throw the ball to walker and prince, and im guessing the TE will be reuland?
September 11, 200618 yr reuland and yeatman, by all accounts yeatman has been more impressive, his body is more ready, and he has all the skills
September 11, 200618 yr yea, and I think this coaching staff is proving that they can prepare guys, even guys with inexperience wooden will be back, lamber/walls/mcneil, one of the three will be the other corner herring and either mccarthy or bruton will be the starting safeties, i think thomas returns, so add him to crum and then we have an opening at LB, my guess is toryan takes over the middle, but maybe another guy steps up and crum stays at middle, you will have two new ends, and laws should return so add probably kuntz or hand in the middle thats alot of inexperience, but more experience then whats there on O just think, new QB, Wideouts who havent caught to many balls, most of these sophomores on the o-line with sullivan (mind you alot of them have been seeing playing time) and then walker and schwapp in the backfield with prinec and aldridge backing up walker, Carlson probably comes back, NFL stock goes up more if you do it for two years, and yeatman and reuland back him up thats alot of turnover on an offense, i think these freshman will be ready and its why you are seeing alot of them, including corners and o-line get alot of minutes hopefully one of these qb's step up, and hopefully some wideouts emerge
September 11, 200618 yr , and hopefully some wideouts emerge i can name one! hopefully he'll emerge as a great WR - why didnt they recruit him as a RB btw?
September 11, 200618 yr also wouldn't overlook Ragone and Kamara seeing time we will be loaded with talent just low on experience
September 11, 200618 yr i thought thomas and carlson were seniors? or do they have that 5th year option?
September 11, 200618 yr the scholarship breakdown is stickyed and as i stated Thomas does have a 5th year option McConnell Anastasio Carleson Sullivan Cullen Laws Stephenson Travis Thomas Mitchell Thomas Nick Borsetti Joe Brockington Wooden Zibby Price Gioia they are all 5th year eligible that does not mean they will all be back but they are eligible
