Happy I have him on board, but I'm a little confused by his offer list.

 

He is the #16 safety and #235 overall (according to Rivals), but his best offers are from mostly lower tier schools in the Power 5 conferences. His best offers are: Louisville, Ole Miss, Miss St, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois, Purdue, and Wake Forest.

 

I usually trust the offer list more than the rankings, but I hope I'm wrong in his case. Definitely glad to have another safety commit though.

Well, there is probably a reason the staff didn't offer him until just this past week. With that said, the staff has done a good job with guys that aren't as highly ranked 3 star-lower 4 star type players. Tranquill and Cage are two from just this past season that come to mind.

Honestly, that looks like an impressive list to me, but what do I know? Not elite, but those are some good teams that put out NFL players.

His offer list has five teams in the top 25 including SEC and Big Ten programs - what's not to like...the only concern was his qualifying academically and that appears to have been solidified as the semester just ended giving him the necessary marks to get in

Nobody is making travel plans... But I will say this, look at the kids who have come out of Warren Central over the past decade...it's not exactly a talent deprived program

And that's why Patterson is such a better coach than Kelly. That really is eye opening.
