December 15, 201410 yr We don't play them so I do not care. Howver, after this season with the 9ers he has become less threatening. From everything you hear , he sounds like a big a hole. People on here will say that Kelly is one but Stanford NFL players do not even like Harbaugh. He will do well though. Players will come play for him and he will get the most out of his kids.If he starts losing though watch out.
December 15, 201410 yr who told you? DD posters have more sources than ESPN these days * if a michigan fan wrote it in on twitter it's not credible
December 15, 201410 yr Author Do you have a Source? Yup, ESPN sportswriter. I guess Michigan is throwing the house at him and 9ers are more than likely to clean house as soon as the season is over.
December 15, 201410 yr He was definitely in the final 4... Did anyone listen/watch the SF vs Sea game...Aikman and the clown really hinted and stepped around this topic. I think i heard them say..."we will talk about it later"...and "it's obvious he won't be around much longer"...but I never heard the why.

I think i heard them say..."we will talk about it later"...and "it's obvious he won't be around much longer"...but I never heard the why. Well Fox s Jay Glazer has said he was out like week 2. So they probably have talked to him and know his source.
December 15, 201410 yr If he does go to Michigan, that leaves the Raiders job open and I believe Kelly would be interested. You never know what is going to happen these days but it would be late in the game to be on a coach search.
December 15, 201410 yr would help program for sure. and he could still steal recruits. Exactly - this is the only part that concerns me if it is indeed true. Recruiting in the same backyard, the big flashy new name....could be a tad worrisome
December 15, 201410 yr would help program for sure. and he could still steal recruits. Who gives a ****. Until Notre Dame realizes who they are and what made them, the football program will continue to be mediocre. This season was the icing on the cake for my frustration. I'm trying to remember when Notre Dame's excellence became so excellent it began to bite the hand that feeds it. Losing a few games each year is clearly acceptable as long as the alumni can claim moral superiority. :puke: Why CBK is getting a pass for this hot mess in YEAR FIVE is beyond me. I'm done holding my breath. I say bring back Lou Holtz, Prop 48, and Kim Dunbar and win a National Championship before they enter DECADE #4 without one. **** the high road. It's lonely. Harbaugh potentially going to Michigan is the LEAST of our problems.

The only way he is not here next season is if he leaves for the NFL
December 15, 201410 yr Howver, after this season with the 9ers he has become less threatening. i think their performance this year was less based on his coaching abilities and more on all the drama going on in the background. The 49ers tried to trade him to the Browns last season after he went 13-3. The writing was on the wall that he was on the way out this entire season. Him and the management supposedly havent seen eye to eye. He wants to have full control, but they wont allow it, and things have gotten worse as the year went on.
December 15, 201410 yr Lots of talk about Jim harbaugh to Dolphins. Probably leveraging for more money either way
December 15, 201410 yr Lots of talk about Jim harbaugh to Dolphins. Probably leveraging for more money either way Raiders, could also be GM
December 15, 201410 yr Lots of talk about Jim harbaugh to Dolphins. Probably leveraging for more money either way Stephen Ross is the owner of the Dolphin's and the single largest donor to UofM. Not a snowballs chance in hell does he steal his school's first choice. That talk is BS. (lifetime $313 million donated, lump sum of 200 mill back in 2013) Edited December 15, 201410 yr by piratey
December 15, 201410 yr It's funny to me that Harbaugh is even considered at scUM. Just a few years ago, Harbaugh was hated by fans and alumn for the comments he made while at Stanford.....but, I guess the chance of winning will mend a lot of fences.

December 15, 201410 yr Well, nobody but Harbaugh and his family really knows what he wants, but I would tend to think that he probably wants to stay in the NFL for a while longer, even if he does want to coach at Mich some day. There is always the chance that this hire is the next Schembechler or Carr who's there for a really long time, but it's prob more likely that the gig will be open again in the next 3-5 years, giving Harbaugh more time to sow his oates in the big leagues and re-assess if he wants to come back then and just finish up his career on the Mich sidelines. ...OR, maybe he's thinking he could pounce on the gig now, leave a legacy of getting Mich "back," and then go back to the NFL one day, ala Petey, since one thing is as sure as death and taxes, and that's the fact that NFL jobs will be open every year.
Hearing Harbaugh to Michigan. Hope it's not accurate.
