Rumor is he also sent in his financial aid papers to Florida so ND would not be the only school who could contact him during the dead period. I don't know that's been confirmed. Kelly and Alford are visiting him tonight I believe. Hopefully they can firm up that commitment.

After last year, the NCAA changed the rule. Kids can send in the financial aid paperwork to as many teams as their hearts desire, however, they can only have unlimited contact with the first school during the dead period. In Coney's case, he sent his first set into ND, so they can contact him as much as they want. Florida could only speak with him if he initiates the contact.

Coney has his in-home with Kelly tonight. Should work out ok.

McElwain met with him last night and gave him a lot to think about.

I feel like it has to be. It's one thing for a kid to talk about how "all in" he is on ND (Anzalone), it's another to try to recruit another kid to ND.
