Just saw that Walter Camp mock draft moved him into the number six pick to Redskins since inquiry about draft grade. Peat from Stanford may return to school. This sucks for me as a Skins fan because I don't want Stanley to leave and I think that's way to high for the Skins to pick him at number six. I like Stanley but I think they can get a better player at six.

Wow, if that is going to be his grade, he is gone...

That is still surprising to me. Never thought he would be that high.

Relax, there's still the combine...I'm very curious to see what he puts up in the bench press because he doesn't look too thick in the chest.

He's the shiny new toy in the mock draft world.

Remember when Te'o was rated around the fifth overall pick?

Well the good news is I don't think Stanley has a fake girlfriend to worry about ?

They see what Zach Martin has done and are convinced they can get that with Stanley to. I think he'll be a good pro wherever he goes. Although he's going to have to work on those speed rushers if he stays at tackle though.

Players cannot participate in combines unless they aren't returning, correct?

yes, I meant about him being taken in the top five...not about whether he was going or not...

Consider me shocked. If he gets a grade like that, he would be crazy not to go. But, ya, I am with Rocket on this one. I will still be surprised if he declares and ends up a top 10 pick but who knows. Either way, good for him!

Wouldn't surprise me if he leaves and is drafted high. He is extremely quick out of his stance and handled USC's Leonard Williams n a marquee matchup. On some plays, he's so much quicker out of his stance and moving than the other linemen that I think he's offside.

I really don't want to re-watch that game, but may just to watch Stanley. I was at the game. Live, it seemed like he did OK against Williams. He didn't get destroyed so maybe that translates to "played well." I thought Williams was lined up over McGlinchy most of the day.

Who was the turnstile responsible for Tavai's 3.5 sacks?

LSU will be a good test for Stanley, for they are the strongest and most brutish folks he'll have faced this year, at least collectively. If he has a good game there, his draft status will stay sky-high and he's likely gone. If he gets bull-rushed to death, maybe he stays.

If he's being projected in the top ten, I don't think he'll participate in the combine. Could really only hurt his status.

That won't help him either...

sure didn't hurt Clowney

He participated in some events, the 40 being the most famous.

I think it's unfair to compare anyone to Clowney. Clowney's the freak lineman/athlete who can better his numbers while being scrutinized in speedos. I would guess it hurts top-ten rated linemen more than it helps the once-in-a-decade Clowneys. Where did Nix turn up??

I'm not ruling it out, just wondering if that's something his agent would want him to do if indeed he grades out in top ten.

I think it's completely a fair comparison in the sense he was definitely projected in the top 10 and still participated.

In 2013. the top 6 OLs taken all participated in combine (including picks 1 and 2)

Are you saying OL can't better their #s? I'm fairly sure strong performances helped some of our guys before last draft?

I think Nix is the unfair comparison. Other side of line, was out of shape his whole time at ND. Who thought he would have a strong performance?
