November 23, 201410 yr Does this look like a kid who's going to abandon his teammates? http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/Domer81/maxredfieldcammcdaniel.png~original? #uck yeah. ND baby - players sticking together - regardless of what pseudo fans say.
November 23, 201410 yr crappy fans verbally abuse players when they lose. players are usually friends snd sticj together regsrdless of fairweather crap fans who thibk they have all the answers.
November 23, 201410 yr Author Remember Davonte Neal? He was passionate as hell and look what happened. Please show me anything remotely as strong evidence that Devonte Neal loved his teamates? Good luck.
November 23, 201410 yr Remember Davonte Neal? He was passionate as hell and look what happened. His girlfriend got pregnant. That's what happened.
November 23, 201410 yr Please show me anything remotely as strong evidence that Devonte Neal loved his teamates? Good luck. Look at any game from that 2012 season and u will see Neal on the sidelines highfiving, greeting players when they leave the field, etc. This team and mostly the QB, looks like they dont give a ****.

So, when times are good that is an example of a players loyalty? Nonsense. Try again sport. Then, do yourself a favor, put on a pair of glasses that aren't knee deep in your own shiiite and look at the picture. This is a promising sophomore who is seeing some time on the bench as a motivational tool. He would be exhibit A in your clueless irrational fan fantasy world of Kelly losing the team, the team not caring blah, blah, blah. Keep on deluding yourself. This picture is worth more than a thousand words.
November 23, 201410 yr Does this look like a kid who's going to abandon his teammates? http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/Domer81/maxredfieldcammcdaniel.png~original? Who was expecting Redfield to transfer ???

This picture is worth more than a thousand words. I'm going to respectfully disagree, Kelly has not "lost" the team, however he has beaten them down so far they lack the essential confidence to succeed... No player exhibits this more than Golson.
November 23, 201410 yr Author I'm going to respectfully disagree, Kelly has not "lost" the team, however he has beaten them down so far they lack the essential confidence to succeed... No player exhibits this more than Golson. Yet he was 16-24 for 66% completion rate for 236 yards 2 TD passes, on 2 pt conversion and 1 int. For a guy who was turning the ball over too much, he played more within himself and gave his team a chance to win or at least tie the game in the end. I thought he played good, not great, but hardly worthy of criticism of he or the coach.
November 23, 201410 yr Some people on this site make absolutely no sense, how does someone saying They think Redfield might transfer make the a pseudo fan? I think he might after the last few games. Hugging a teammate shows compassion, that he's there for his brother giving him support. If he were to transfer lets say how would this prove he's not going to? Sometimes a system, school, or coach just doesn't work for or fit a player. That could be Redfield or it might not be but this doesn't prove anything other then being there for a teammate. Some of you have no thought process.
November 23, 201410 yr Nobody is EXPECTING him to transfer. I think it's more like nobody will be surprised. Davontae Neal wanted to stay, but in the end his expectant girlfriend made the choice a no-brainer for him. Can't fault the kid. A lot of Redfield's response probably depends on how the coaching staff is treating him behind the scenes. If they're treating him well, he probably isn't inclined to leave. If he's being shunned, I'd expect he WOULD leave, simply out of pride.

That could be Redfield or it might not be but this doesn't prove anything other then being there for a teammate. Some of you have no thought process. And you call your speculation a thought process? Too funny. We'll see if Redfield abandons his teammates. I'm glad he got outside of his own personal problems to console his captain. This is the kind of thing that I hope and expect out of ND football players: An awareness of the concept of the importance of leaders and an awareness that leadership and team pride is more important than individual situations. It is indicative of Redfield's character development, which to me bodes well for his future at ND. I hope I'm right. There's way too much cynicism among the ND fanbase regarding our coaches and our players. Here's hoping the kid has a great career and becomes a great leader in the next three years.

Yeah your right it's speculation but you showing a picture doesn't tell me anything other than he's a nice guy, good teammate and friend. Kids get too pick where they play college ball and get an education. Abondoning a team would be walking away from a practice, game or during season. I wouldn't call transferring after the season abandoning your team. I'd call it a personal decision that is better for yourself which is why lots of people transfer, things weren't as expected and I couldn't blame him if he did.
November 23, 201410 yr So he will leave his major, which is more important to him than football, sit out an entire year, to play one more year? Makes sense. Redfield chose ND for the plethora of opportunities beyond football. Numerous articles have shown this. Anyone who thinks he will transfer for not playing hasn't been following the actual players.
November 23, 201410 yr Maybe having something else than football to look forward to has become a handicap for ND , on the football field
November 23, 201410 yr Maybe having something else than football to look forward to has become a handicap for ND , on the football field Yeah, all these young men trying to get and education and set themselves up for a good life is really holding back the football team. They are student athletes. They are supposed to look forward to something other than football.

Sorry I bothered. I gave you every chance to see the virtue of what it means to love Notre Dame, but you don't have the heart. I get it. I'm done with this.

I'm done with this. Keep your emotions in check, I don't have the heart? What are you even saying. Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if he transferred, no one knows what he's thinking. I know notre dame is a special place, id give my left but to go there. Just because it's special doesn't mean players haven't and won't cpntinue to transfer, it happens.
