I've been really hard on him and I really don't blame him. He's just not ready physically or mentally. He gets pushed around when he's there but that's very seldom. Most of the time he looks lost or out of position.

Some of you guys are unbelievable.

 

He's a fantastic prospect playing a very difficult position who was forced into duty well before his time.

I don't think that's a good excuse. isn't pretty much every team playing at least 1 true freshman in a key position? player should be coached up ready to play.

Exactly right. He SHOULDN'T be playing right now though. He's not ready. Martini however, is. That's my own beef. It's a coaching decision that I'm annoyed with.

I have no idea what Morgan is like to wheather he can mentally be ready. but just because he is a freshman shouldn't be the excuse. it doesn't matter what grade you're in to wheather you could be ready. he could be a sophomore and still not be ready mentally. if he has the talent the coaching needs to do a better job to make sure he is ready to play. IF he isn't ready to play then the coaching should see this and not have in the game regardless wheather they need players.

He will be a stud but it hurts because we see other teams have freshman come in and do a great job or someone come off the baseball field and kick field goals better than our all time leader. it's just damn frustrating.
