Day expected back at some point this year, possibly a bowl game. Cage will be back for USC barring anything else happening to that knee.

Ouch! This game could really get ugly. I am amazed that ND started as a 9 point favorite this week. I know it's down to 3 but I am still shocked they are favored. Hopefully they find a way to hold on to the ball, slow the pace down and escape with a W.

Reading some notes on Kelly's PC and he said something along the lines of they ran it around 40 times this past weekend and over 200 yards and it didn't seem to help. I would expect Kelly to have Golson throw 50-60x this game. :-?

It's still the timing of the runs. I guess you're just not going to change his mind. He just can't use the run to set up the pass. He must use the pass to try and set up the run.

The hits keep coming.

Louisville has Michael Dyer a really good back who won the national title with Auburn and Newton. He was a freshman then and looks even better now, expect him to gash us up the middle all day.

Louisville's offense is probably licking their chops, I hate to say we might give up 50 this week.

We just need MLBs and S that have a clue. Maybe having Redfield back will help.

My friends, news like this is why God gave us bourbon.

I'm gonna stout the hell out of myself this weekend...

Could play out any number of ways...

All I hope is that these boys come out Saturday with a little fire in the belly.

The Notre Dame Fighting Sybils?

Who is next in? We are pretty deep into the depth on the D line now.

Let's hope Petrino pulls a Brian Kelly, where as, everybody knows what the other's team's weakness is, but he's too bullheaded to exploit it because it goes against his "style of play".

Trumbetti/Jones/Utopu/Rochell

Okwara / Blankenship/ Matuska/ Hill in the rotation

WOW.....good luck boys

aloha

I wonder if some people would like to rethink having a bunch of 3 star guys at the d-line position is ok. We need help in a bad way. I can't remember a team relying so much on frosh and soph's at key positions. Buckle up, it's going to be a long ride.

this team gets younger everyday

Dyer's going to get his yards and their D is decent, but I still firmly believe ND can outscore them at home. I know, Northwestern is far inferior to Louisville and beat us at home last week, I do watch the games, but I just can't see them losing this game. Here's hoping my gut is right....

You better get to the pharmacy and stock up on the Antacids.

It has that feeling, but maybe it's because the NW game was eerily similar to the Tulsa game .
