1. miss state. (deserved.

2. oregon (wtf? lost to arizona at home).

3. florida st. (still undefeated so how does oregon jump them?

4. tcu (baylor beat them head to head, wtf)

doesn't matter now, but biggest beef is FSU dropping to 3.

and TCU might not even win its conference.

AND OUR TWO LOSSES TO A PAIR OF TOP 7 TEAMS ON THE ROAD YET WE ARE BEHIND K-STATE, GEORGIA AND ARIZONA?

The most respect we got was illustrated by how much ASU jumped after beating us.

It's clear these bozo's do not watch the games and only go off the predetermined bias and stat sheets.

We literally gave that game away. ASU sucks, and played lights out to beat us.

Kind of pisses me off to be behind UGA and LSU but oh well.

Seriously why even complain. ND ****ing lost the game by 24. Oh well, should have won the damn game.

FSU at 3 really is a joke. Say what you want but they are still the defending champs, with 20 plus wins in a row with a returning heisman trophy winning qb. That whole committee thing is a joke. There's got to be a formula that takes biased views out of it.

Georgia is ahead of us? The same Georgia who got SHUTOUT by Mizzou who lost to lowly Indiana?!

I'm perfectly fine with that top 4.

There's only one way for ND to make the four team play-off.

We have to always go 12-0. 11-1 will never make it with this silly group.

Umm no. Ga beat them 31-0

The only thing that doesn't make sense is ASU getting love for beating ND, but FSU not and ND dropping so far. Either they are a good win or they aren't.

This committee will not be choosing who plays in the playoff, within two years. They are asinine. There is so much wrong with their choices, top to bottom.

This also pretty much assures ND isn't going to a top bowl.

I haven't looked at the tie ins, but if we take care of business the rest of the year don't you think we could climb back up to 12 and get one? Don't some of the bigger bowls have some leniency on who they can choose?

I hear this and agree, but I think Miami is going to beat them Saturday. Looks like the one loss could knock them out of the playoffs. I wouldn't mind that one bit.

This year Orange Bowl takes ACC rep and highest from SEC/Big 10/ND. Other 3 games are assigned with no tie ins, other than 1 spot for highest non power 5 team. So ND has to get to top 11, which is possible, but they already behind a 3 loss team and have no ranked teams left to play.

Still have a shot at a top tier bowl. IF we win out and IF fsu and asu win out, our only two losses will have been to two of the 4 playoff teams. That's a pretty impressive resume in itself. Plus wins against Stanford, Louisville, and USC. All in all, not a bad season, with a possibility of 20 starters returning with depth on both sides of the ball.

Time to take care of northwestern and let's the chips fall where they may.

Go Irish

Getting clobbered by 24 killed us.

I hate to be "that guy" the a-hole, but this was part of my point on the one thread of this loss drops ND back 2 years. Or whatever it was called. The committee holds our fate And they don't think highly of ND. If we lose especially big than they are going to drop us bad. Even if it's against a good team.

I wonder, if we don't have a big bowl win, how will be ranked the following year? And with the schedule supposedly being weaker, theirs not much room to move up unless we hope for teams to lose. We'll have a tough time as long as the committee runs this crap. We need to start destroying teams.

I still think if we go 10-2 we are going to a BCS bowl. A 2 loss ND will never be left out of the BCS, we are too big of a draw and still think we'd have the resume. No elite wins but some very quality wins and no cupcakes.

The way we lost killed us, for those that didn't watch the game we lost by 24. For those that did ASU let up after they had the big lead and that let us back in the game. We get no respect and we need to beat a bigtime team in a BCS game so the committee looks at us differently around this time next year.

It's clear the only thing the committee cares about is quality of wins.

Umn, ASU did not let up. If you watch ANY college games at all, no lead, no matter how large, is really safe anymore. This game was an example of it.

Hey man I didn't say it, twas the talking heads. We all know they aren't too fond of ND as well.
