Some of you are disgraceful to the fanbase and to the football team.

Calling for heads and acting like chicken littles is a complete farce. I sure as hell wouldn't want to line up on a field or go to war with some of you lame a$$ed soft people.

I remain a loyal son.

Agreed. I hope some of these folks don't make life decisions in the same manner that they suggest the university should make decisions concerning the coaching staff and players.

It is awful; a bunch of (supposedly) grown men watching student-athletes play a game - and if the result isn't what they want, they become completely unhinged. I'm embarrassed for them, and in some ways it makes me a little ashamed to be an Irish fan - not for the team, but for some of the milquetoast fans.

These so called fans exist in all fan bases. They all seem to know exactly what is wrong and exactly how the coach or player should've did this or that. Every loss their initial reaction is bench this kid or fire this coach, its so idiotic its almost funny.

If you wont line up on the field with me, can we at least hang out in the shower after? Maybe let me be a cheerleader or something?:cheer2:;)

Well stated. We seem to have a bunch of nattering nabobs of negativism on this site who in no way shape or form are "loyal" sons.

I stand with you as a loyal son, ND class of '71! Proud to be ND!!!

good thing somebody anointed all these measuring stick expert fans to gauge if anybody overreacts or underreacts to anything

and why is it when somebody's opinion comes into question it feels like you have to pull out credentials to prove you're legitimately a card carrying Notre Dame fan?

for the record I started going to ND games in 1986, they had a losing record that year

but I tell you that only for perspective, in case I'm not a real fan for getting upset after a loss

look no further than BK's press conference when he took the job to decide for yourself what to think

Great point, Rocket! Agreed completely. I also appreciate the people who voice their concerns about various aspects of the program. The sky is falling, extremely outrageous statements are the ones I hope will be flushed from the site some day.

Still the best place for ND football fans!

not sure who's up in arms about who but

most of what I've seen that you may consider "complaining" is just obvious objective criticism that mostly was acknowledged with BK calling out Golson and even Golson saying "it's on me"

so short of calling for a quarterback change what's the big deal here?

evidently your a "disgrace" for questioning a player who's turned the ball over 17 times the last 5 games (2 of those games being losses)

...just the natural fallout from expectations being set too high.

I was apprehensive about checking ESPN for the score after seeing some of the threads here, but I gotta say that I am way more embarrassed about them scoring 55 than I am about the loss.

Pissed? No. I was pissed after the FSU game because of the way it ended.

If we end up 9-3, which is where I think we will end up now, then its actually right where we should probably be. I thought we would be 8-4, but this team looks better than I thought they would. Brush yesterday off because that was not a typical showing for this squad. It was a bad game all around and most teams have at least one per season. We just had ours against a quality team.

I am just shocked, however, that the same defense I was lauding weeks ago was the same defense from yesterday. And it really, really sucks not being able to watch the games out here. If you watched the game yesterday and you're one of the guys freaking out, imagine missing out on watching and having to wake up to instant disappointment. It's worse.

▲ This statement a million times! Thank you for saying this Rocket!

Here is an idea, why dont you quit telling people how to be a fan and let them vent and voice their frustrations or happiness the way they want too? So many try to put others down or tell them what to say on here.

Couldn't agree more echo, things are looking up for at the program as a whole but this is and always has been a 9 win team, I predicted 8 as well so they're progressing quicker then I expected

I'll give you a pass since you didn't see the game. But no one can possibly blame this loss on the defense. Asu had 2 pick 6's, and we had a fumble on our own 5 yd line and a pick on our own 15 yd line. That was 28 points absolutely gifted to asu. 28!!!!

The defense shut them out the entire second half until 4 mins left. And this was with several starters out.

No way this was on the defense and no way does the final score indicate what really took place in the game.

Without the turnovers we would have won by 14 easy and we would be commending the toughness of the defense today instead of acting like idiots in saying the D gave up 55 points.

Lmfao. You are probably soft as hell. This **** cracks me. Bwahahahahaha. Tough guy. ..... give me a break. I would love to meet you. Teddy bear.

Sorry I offended you..."my bad"...

I love this team. Love this coaching staff. We don't have the guns to give up the ball 5 times and keep the game close much less win. Few teams do. And those that do, I would never root for.

Go Irish.

it was a tough day no doubt, but we still have some wins to be had and lots of motivation since we actually have bowl options this year.

The defense I saw earlier this year wouldn't have even given up 27 legitimate points to ASU. And that is after gifting them 28.

Who are you talking to? There seems to be a threat in your statement. He who threatens one threatens all.
