Golson has clearly become a head case. But all of his qb's at ND have become that way.

 

Why cant any of them grasp his offense consistently? Why do they not look prepared? Are they all this mentally fragile or does his offense just not translate as well as we would like?

All of the turnovers were a direct result of ASU blitzing. Can't wait to see how many blitzes Louisville and USC dial up.

 

If yesterday taught Kelly anything, it is that EG is not capable of throwing play action passes -which takes the RB out of the blocking equation- against 6 man rush/blitzes. He simply does not have enough time for his skill set to read the situation and coverage. If EG has Cam in there, he can burn blitz heavy defenses with regularity, because the extra time afforded him lets him see the situation and coverage.

 

What bothers me the second most -after Golson's continued fumblelitis- is that Kelly apparently doesn't have Folston coached up to be a pass blocker yet. This goes for Bryant as well.

Then its the coaches job to either change that mentality or not bring those types of kids into the program to begin with
