no problem with the rankings yet. I don't even think they matter right now. They should wait until after the 3rd week to give the rankings.

if ND starts off 3-0 they'll move up to #3. OSU will lose to UT and bump them down.

yup, they should hold off on rankings for at least 2-3 weeks. All that matters is the rankings Jan. 9th

No disagreement here. I either posted this or thought about posting....I think that taking us down a couple of notches is a good thing. Last year, CW said that he worried about the team's heads. It could have happened at GT. Maybe the team believed too much of their own hype.

either texas or osu goes down this weekend, then irish beat usc at the end of the season...boom

this is pretty close to beig correct, i woul have put louisville in place of oklahoma, otherwise this is a pretty fair result. were not a top team just yet, we have to play better and smarter. if we want to move up, 1 Ohio State

That they do. It's how the BC$ determines who goes to the BC$ Bowls. Conference teams all get revenue sharing which is based upon how big the pot is for your conference. Vote your conference buddies in and you bring a bigger share to your conference. Vote the other conference's team down a couple of slots and they don't go to a BC$ Bowl nor do the BIG $$$$ go to that conference.
