Fuller is the fastest ND player since?

Recommended Posts

In terms of game speed, actual running with the ball on the field. Fuller was running away from a guy like Darby on the one slant he caught.

I remember Golden Tate being more quick than fast, even though he had good top end speed. I'm trying to think back to the early 2000's if ND had anyone as game fast as Fuller.

Thoughts?

GAIII ran track......

But on a football field, I think Fuller is faster than GA3 was.

Yup, GAIII had elite TOP END speed, but it took him a while to get going

Fuller has football speed....he also has much better vision than GAIII

Fuller is fast. I've only been watching ND football since 2005 so I didn't get to see the Rocket but Fuller is the fastest ND football player I've ever seen. Tate was close but Fuller was faster than anyone on the field. Overall our speed and strength is 100 fold more than it was under Weis. We looked just as fast and "skrong" as FSU. Another sign that BK has this program moving forward in the right direction.

Joey Getherall (all 5'4" or so of him - honestly even in cleats I don't know that he came up to my eyeballs) had the same awesome "football" speed. I didn't have the best four year run of football when I was at school, but it was always fun to watch him return punts.

joey was awesome and had great football speed.

No one could catch GAIII, however, there were 3 big problems with GAIII:

1) It took awhile to get to top end speed

2) He ran up-right and would easily trip over a shoe-lace tackle

3) He had no agility, no juke moves, no wiggle.

GAIII was fast as hell and anyone who disagrees is simply wrong.

No one said he wasn't fast, I just think Fuller is faster. I've never seen Fuller caught either.
