Activated from practice squad today and will be live for TNF. If you have fantasy leagues, he's a guy to keep an eye on. This is a HUGE opportunity for him and I hope it works out. He's worked long and hard to get there.

me too. he was a great RB, perfect combination of power and speed.

Give em hell Jonas and truck them fools!

Good deal, hopefully he makes the most of this opportunity. Between he and Darius Fleming, I might actually have a reason to watch The Pats.

Nice first touch!

3 carries for 12 yards with a long of 5 in his debut. They only ran the ball 15 times.

Couldn't be happier for the kid. He should have been on a roster awhile ago.

The big thing is he hit the depth chart ahead of White, which is about a strong an indication that he's got the inside track on their thumper role as you're going to get out of NEP. I'm calling my shot now, he's gonna have a few huge games down the stretch (125+ yards) and people are going to be raving about A) the Pats knack for plugging in noone's and getting production and B) Jonas's journey to being a productive NFL back on a great team.

Coach Bill Belichick said the Patriots will "keep going with" Jonas Gray and see how he seizes the opportunity.

Gray is officially ahead of Brandon Bolden on the depth chart, as if Thursday night's usage didn't confirm it. It didn't mean a whole lot, as Gray saw just two touches compared to one for Bolden. But we'd expect Gray's role to grow as the "big back" complement to Shane Vereen, who handled 17 touches against the Jets. Gray may never be fantasy-useful, but he could see 8-10 weekly carries.

I honestly think Jonas Gray just needs the opportunity...the guy is the typical NFL thumper but with top end speed...give him a crease, and he'll pull away from everyone

Agreed, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, he'll get his opportunity now. Ridley's out for the year and basically forever with his contract up. Vereen's contract is up at the end of the year and White is a rookie and big Bill rarely gives major PT to rookies on offense. If Jonas can seize this chance, he could reup next year for a good deal and half a hefty chunk of carries in a tom brady offense.

Needs to block better. He got pushed back into the Model Humper a couple of times.

I saw that but it seemed like he didn't have a 'revolving door' moment but definitely a few close calls.
