I too liked it, and I thought I heard someone say that there is also the possibility of using a colored smoke, such as blue or green or even maybe a gold. Now that would be really cool!

I like it! Glittery gold -- even my little daughters would watch ND football if they did that.

Agreed on all accounts. Interested to see if the smoke will be for all games, night games, or just big ones. Loved all of it though. Perfect startup for the game.

Don't mind the fog; HATE the green ND's on the tunnel walls. Green does not go with the blue. Gold and blue.

I can do without the fog but I guess it's not make or break for me.

 

I agree about the green ND logo on the wall, why isn't it gold.

Anything to get them more fired up. ND has a tendency to play flat, especially at home. I suspect it has to do with the reverence of playing in the "house that Rockne built". If some smoke gets them more fired-up... then puff puff puff give, baby!

I didn't like it, but not because I'm against doing new non "traditional" things. The smoke machine gimmick is Miami's thing though.
