Watching the Michigan game today makes the 31-0 shutout seem a whole lot less impressive. Michigan looks 2007 ND bad. Hoke is done for sure.

31-0 against Michigan is always impressive. A shutout in itself is impressive, a shut out against a Power 5 school is impressive, a shutout against a rival is even more impressive. Finally, a shutout to end the rivalry is pure ecstasy.

Agree to disagree I guess. It felt great to smash Michigan after so many heartbreakers lately, but it's not that impressive to me now as far as an indicator of how good ND is. This Michigan team is just terrible. The Stanford and FSU games will tell us all we need to know about 2014 ND.

I want our opponents to win for strength of schedule, with two exceptions.

 

I want Michigan to lose. And I want SC to lose.

I believe the game will count...I'm not sure of the rules either, but I definitely thought if the 4rth quarter is being played, the game will count. It's something along the lines that 50% of the game needs to be played...or 50% of the 4th quarter needs to be completed. I'm sure we'll find out soon enough. I want to know though.

I think any game suspended in the fourth quarter will make it an official game...

Quite an argument between Hoke and Mattison on the sideline today. It was only over a sideline warning, but they were clearly easily irritated. Lots of stress in AA it seems….

Yeah, exactly! I think Michigan's only hope right now is to put all their chips in for Harbaugh. Other than that, I think they go into the ND slump for the next 10 years or more. Historic program that struggles to get big time recruits, good coaching, and big wins. I think OSU and ND get the majority of the big time midwest recruits which hurts Michigan. Primarily because they don't seem recruit nationally enough. Also, They want to hang onto that OSU rivalry and use the rivalry to try to go after those Ohio kids. Some will come here, while Urban will get the majority. I just see them slumping bad.
